One afternoon, two kids at the age of 15, one boy and one girl. The boy had raven black hair with ocean blue eyes, a grey crown beanie, an 'S' T-shirt and a flannel wrapped around his waist. The girl had gorgeous blonde hair slicked back into a ponytail, emerald green eyes, a pink sweater and light blue jeans. They both stand in an empty trailer at SunnySide Trailer Park with sad expressions on both their faces.
"Do you have to go, Jug?" the girl tells her childhood best friend.
"It's not forever, I'm just finishing school. I'll be back before you know it." he says with a sad smile.
She pulls him in for a tight hug, "I'll miss you." she says with tears threatening to fall.
"I'll miss you to Liz." he says and she chuckles. "What?" he says in confusion.
"You know you're the only person that calls me that." she says causing both of them to smile.
"Well it better stay that way." he says.
They both pull away from the hug and look at each other one last time before he leaves. Tears filling Betty's eyes and streaming down her face.
That moment gets cut short by FP calling Jughead to get in the car. "Boy hurry up we're leaving!" he yells at jughead from outside.
"Coming!" Jughead yells back. He pulls Betty in for one last hug.
"I'm going to miss you so much Juggie." she says while giving him a squeeze.
"You know you're the only person that calls me that." He says, remembering what Betty from earlier.
Betty laughs and pulls away from the hug, "Well it better stay that way." she says as she wipes away her tears that don't seem to stop falling.
They both walk to the doorway of the trailer holding hands and they both stop, its silent before Betty breaks it. "Bye Juggie." she says with a smile even though tears are spilling out of her eyes.
"Bye Liz." he says, his voice is breaking a little as tears start to form in his eyes. Betty goes on her tippy toes to kiss his cheek.
Jughead starts walking but his hand is still connected with Betty's not wanting to let her go. As he keeps walking he suddenly stops and looks back and he realises that his hands holding Betty's are stopping him from going any further, so he slowly relaxes his hands and so does Betty knowing she has to let him go. They both look at each other as their hands slowly drift apart from each other. Jughead makes his way to the car and gives Betty one last look before going in and closing the door. The car starts and reverses and turns to drive on the road drives away.
Betty cries as she sees her childhood best friend drive away.
*3 YEARS LATER*
Betty's POV
I wake up to my alarm, I turn it off and get ready fo the day, I look through my closet and think about what I should wear. Today I'm graduating and I'm so excited, its after school so I choose my favourite dress with flowery patterns on it, I get my favourite shoes and lay them on my bed, while I put on y high-waisted light blue jeans with my pink sweater with a white collar and flats. Once I have everything I need I head downstairs.
"Morning Betty." my mom smiles at me.
I smile at her, "Morning." I eat my breakfast quickly and run out the door. "Bye mom, love you." I say.
"Love you too." my mom says before I close the door.
As I walk to school, I get my phone out before I forget and go to my contacts and click on the person I want to call.
