The Start of the Nightmare - Chapter 13

After spending the rest of the day with Jax in bed, Jodi is now at home getting ready to meet the rest of the girls at Charli's. She has just got out of the shower when her door bell rings, she puts on a robe and wanders to the door.

As she opens the door she is greeted with a big bunch of flowers, which are hiding a guys face. He slowly pulls the flowers away and she squeals with delight.... 'Oh my god, JP!!! What are you doing here?'

'Hey cuz, great to see you too LOL. I was visiting a friend in San Diego trying to get my head straight after the whole Alex situation and thought while I was over this way I would surprise my favourite cousin and spend a few days with her before heading back home.' He replies.

'Oh wow, that's absolutely amazing, you know how much I love to see you, and even better still there is a group of us going out to Charli's tonight so you can come with us. You never know, maybe we can find you a dirty little whore to help take your mind off Alex'

Later that night they all descended into Charli's and as the drinks began to flow, the group start to get extremely rowdy and extremely bitchy especially as the club is busier than normal.

It didn't take long for Jodi to notice that Jax had come in and even though she tried not to look over to where he was with the rest of the band, she just couldn't help it.

'So who's the guy your perving at?' ask JP

'Oh just someone that I'm kinda seeing. Its nothing serious, but I spent most of the afternoon with him, and he didn't mention at all that he was coming in tonight.'

JP and Jodi have always been really close, so close in fact that people used to think that they were brother and sister and not cousins. Well at least that was until his family moved to the other side of the country a number of years ago. They still talk on a daily basis and he is the only person that no matter how hard she tries, she can't hide anything from him. He immediately notices that she is hiding something from him, so he grabs hold of her hand and pulls her over to a quiet area of the club.

'OK now that we are away from your mates, loose the hard bitch act, and tell me exactly what the fuck is going on!! And don't try and pretend everything is fine. I know you better than anyone and I also know when you are hiding something and when you are lying..... So you better start spilling'

As Jodi starts telling JP about what is really happening with Jax and the way he has been treating her she can't help but start filling up with tears, and the more upset she gets, the angrier JP gets.

'Are you fucking kidding me?? Jesus Christ Jodi, what the fuck is wrong with you? Why the hell are you letting a Grade A Prick like that treat you like a piece of shit on his shoe??? You don't deserve to be treated like that, and trust me you can certainly do so much better than him!! I've got a good mind to go over there and punch the fuckin pricks lights out!'

'No JP, please don't do that. I really, really like this guy and I'm sure everything will sort itself out' begs Jodi.

'Why can't you see that he's just using you until he finds someone better.... You are worth way more than that, and the quicker you see that and fuck him off the better. But your my cousin, so I will respect your wish and I won't beat the living shit out of him this time! But I'm telling you now if things don't change then I will definitely be paying this prick a visit'. With that he pulls her into him and gives her the biggest hug that he can, and as she crumples into his arms, he can't believe that the normally, cocky, hard ass bitch is letting someone treat her is such an appalling way.

After Jodi has composed herself, JP and Jodi return to the group with a tray of shots for everyone. He carefully positions himself in amongst the girls so that he can watch what Jax is doing, in the hope that he spots a chance to grab him on his own.
