The Start of the Nightmare - Chapter 14

He sits on the bed with his laptop and goes back over her social media sites to find out more about Lexi and her life.

He can't believe how easy it was to find her yesterday, or how much information she has given away without realising it.  Thanks to the 'Primitive Souls' gig flyer, he was able to find out her surname and then with a few simple strokes of the keyboard, there she was for the whole world to see.

He's quite surprised that her accounts have only been up and running for the last 12 months, but in that time she's managed to give away so much about her personal and social life which is going to be extremely useful to him, and as for the photos.... Wow they are certainly impressive.

It's the stuff she has been posting over the last few weeks that interest him the most, especially the ones about the new guy in her life and her amazing new friends, and after a few more clicks of the keyboard, he manages to find out more about her new boyfriend.

He reads all about AJ, the Alpha Dogs and he takes great pleasure in knowing that they are about to embark on a short cross country tour and that they will be gone for about 6 weeks. This means his darling Lexi will be in her apartment on her own a lot more, and if he plays his cards right, he will be able to worm his way into her affections and then into her bed.

He jumps off his bed and picks up his baseball cap, and carefully puts his camera, night vision googles, webcams, phone and a book into his backpack before he quietly leaves the apartment. It took him two hours yesterday to find the perfect vantage points outside of her apartment. Somewhere that he could not only see the entrance of the apartment block, but with the help of his night vision goggles, he can see straight into her apartment without attracting too much attention to himself.

He makes sure that the baseball cap, is pulled right down over his eyes, and sits himself on the steps of the apartment block across the road and picks up his book. To anyone walking past, he is just some guy, sat on the steps reading a book while waiting for someone, but then again considering how quiet the street is, he doubts anyone would give him a second glance even if they did walk past.

For the next two hours he sits there watching Lexi and her friend in the apartment, and as he watches them leave he can't decide whether to follow them, or use this opportunity to have a look around her apartment. He has a quick look at her social media and when he sees that she has gone to a band rehearsal, he decides this is the perfect opportunity for him to take a look, around her apartment.

It doesn't take him long to get inside of the apartment, and he is amazed how similar the lock on her door is to his own, and he makes a mental note to make sure that he improves the security locks at home later.

He notices her laptop sat on her desk, and he can't believe that not only is it turned on, but there is no password on it. He sits down at her desk and puts his latex gloves on before searching through her laptop.

I can't believe she has a document on here titled passwords, which has got every single User ID and Password in it. He thinks to himself. Even though he is shocked at her stupidity, he can't help but be happy at his find and he takes a photo of the information before thinking to himself. These will help me log onto her email, social media accounts, and will also help me to clone her phone. That way I will be able to keep track of her every move, and give me the chance to find a way to get rid of that boyfriend of hers he laughs to himself.

Next he goes into her bedroom and starts going through her belongings, and it's while he is going through her drawers that he finds her journal. He sits down on her bed and starts to read it.

Wow, she really does open up and write everything down in here, all her dreams, her feelings and all her dirty and intimate thoughts. She has even written down everything she and AJ have gotten up to and where, he thinks to himself. As he starts to read Lexi's most intimate entries, he can't help but get excited and he suddenly has an idea. He takes his camera out of his bag and starts to take pictures of every page in her diary so that he can read it properly at his leisure.
