The next few hours pass by really quickly, and as things finally slow down a bit, Lexi notices that AJ has remained perched at the end of the bar the whole time. She notices that his glass is empty so she pours him another drink and as she walks towards him, she starts to notice just how cute he really is.
He has long dark hair, which is spiked up slight at the top, piercing green eyes, his T-shirt sleeves have been cut off and show off his well-toned and very tanned and inked arms, and as for that smile.....wow!! Its mischievous with a hint of sexy, and its one of those smiles that you know will definitely get him into a lot of trouble. This is the kind of guy that Lexi would usually keep well away from, but there is something about him that she can't help be attracted to.
As Lexi places the drink down in front of AJ, Ara walks over and stands next to her. 'Well it looks like we got through that part of the night without any other dramas, so lets grab a drink and take 5' before the next rush starts. She says to Lexi
'Here let me get them, but just make sure that they are both doubles as you both deserve them especially you Lexi! The way you handled that Jodi earlier was fantastic' laughs AJ
They all start laughing and they all look over to where Jodi and her friends stand. It's obvious to Lexi that this girl is going to be trouble, and as for her friends, they are they kind of people who will probably be OK when she's not around but you can guarantee they will be utter bitches when she's with them.
'So Lexi, tell us a bit more about yourself then, as all I've managed to get out of you so far is that you have a cool bike out back, you're a singer who also plays guitar and writes her own songs, and you know how to handle obnoxious bitches. So come on give us the 911' says Ara.
'Well there's not much to tell really. I'm from Virginia, I'm 23, moved here last week. The reason I was able to deal with little miss princess over there so easily is because, I knew a girl like her in high school and I never let her get the upper hand, so I'm sure as hell not gonna let this jumped up bitch and her cronies get one over on me, other then that there's not much to tell!' Replies Lexi.
'There's one thing you forgot to mention Lexi, and I know it's gonna be a question that a lot of the guys in here are gonna want to know the answer too, and I'm 100% certain our lovely AJ here definitely wants to know the answer.......... So are you single or what?' Ara asks with a huge grin.
Lexi can't believe Ara has asked that question, especially in front of AJ, and as she feels herself suddenly starts to blush as she answers. 'Yeah I'm single'
Ara looks over at AJ and gives him a knowing wink and a smile, and AJ just grins before standing up and saying 'Well that's the best news I've had all day! Unfortunately, It looks like the guys have just turned up, so I better head on over there, but I will definitely be back later, and don't forget to text me when you have finished... I would love to take you out and get to know you better!' and with a flash of his sexy smile and a quick wink, AJ makes his way over to the rest of his bandmates.
'Holy shit Lexi, what the hell have you done to AJ? In all the time I have worked here, I have never known him to actually come over to the bar before, let alone sit at it! And the way he was flirting and watching your every move!! I think we have got one very smitten Rock Star over there, and given the way you are blushing at the moment, I think we have got one very excited bartender as well!'
'Well I aint gonna lie, after that kiss earlier, I have got to admit I'm really curious about him and seeing if anything else could happen between us, and the thought of getting him on his own, and seeing what happens is really turning me on. But! And I have to admit Ara, It's a huge but! The last thing I want is to be another notch on his bed post. On top of that, look at all the girls around him and his mates. I can't compete with some of them! I think I'm just gonna text him over the next few days and see what happens. Then if anything does happen, brilliant and if it doesn't, then at least I've not made a complete fool of myself and I will still be able to deal with seeing him in here!'
