While I took my time to calm down, Gbariel inquired ath the clerk on a nearby desk to check  out my room. By the time he had finished with his inquiries, my grief had subsided, and I was prepared to go serious.

But when Gabriel and I went up to the 4th floor by 'elevator', and he led me room 401, my mouth gaped open. Everything is so posh, I'm starting to think it's a little overkill. Us angels are used to practicality and we prefer not spoiling too much money.

"Don't you think, we should'nt indulge ourselves like this? It's very... umm...." I tried to look for the right word.

"Absurd?" Gabril asked, and I nodded. "Nah, you'll get used to it" he winked.

"I'ts okay. It's just temporary. We'll leave as soon as our mission here is done. Or maybe move to another town." Gabriel said. "Your stuff is in the cabinet. Everything is provided for. Your clothes, books, and others"

"I'll leave you to get ready. Remember. 8:00 sharp, and I'll drive you to school" Uriel said, and I nodded.

"I'll be at the other side. You're welcome to come inside my suite, Haniel"Gabriel said, and he left, leaving me standing there, staring at my new home.

I glanced at the bedside clock, and the time was 6:30. I didn't dare sleep. I was too nervous about  the things that I am about to do.  Demons...Ay carumba..... This is too much. How am I supposed to handle a horde of demons and half-breeds?

Okay, I could get a LOT of help from Gabriel. He's the expert in the human world. Hey, I'm just th newbie. Watching from heaven isn't much information, and one misstep could cost us our identity.

'But what if I am alone?' I thought 'There will be no Gabe to help me....'

"Oh heavenly seraphims.... would you just shut it, Haniel?" I chastised myself. "You're a Virtue! An Angel of Motion! You can handle the elements and stuff right?" I tried giving myself a pep talk. It worke though.

A little.

Then the clock slowly drifted to 5:30. So I dressed up on the most decent mortal clothes I could think of: white blouse, skinny deans and boots..then I sat down on the sprigy bed, trying to relax a little before suging into the mortal world.

I looked for my school things and found a new stack of books and notebooks, pens, highlighters, pencils, and everything I could need inside my closet. And saw the schedule for my classes. I only needed to bring whatever I like. Everything was in school, and basically, my brothers are ahead of me. Again. Since the closest thing I could do here is sit and be nervous-- I'm doing good in doing just that-- I decided to explore my temporary home.

Despite it being posh and all, the dominating color was white. My favorite. There was a kitchen withs steel cupboards and a counter with a vase of yellow dandelions. There was also a living room with a flatscreen tv and a few movies that I am not familiar of. I went around the suite, to the bathrooms, and to the balcony where I spent my remaining hours thinking and staring out into the dawn.

I was so deep in thought that I hadn't noticed that Gabriel had crept up behind me.

"Hey, lil sis!" he wrapped his armes around me, and I had to yelp.

"Sheesh, Gabe" I groaned "You scared the lights out of me" I scolded. I wondered why Gabe is such a kid. But he smiled sheepishly at me, and I had to sigh and forgive him anyway.

"It's time" he said "Come on". I looked at the clock, and it says 7:30. I think I spent too much time on the balcony. But my thoughts were disturbed about the school that I am about to enter. What am I supposed to do when I come to meet a demon? Or a lot of other half breeds?

I can't just zap them into oblivion in front of these mortals....But I took one look at Gabe and he stared at me with his blue eyes and he smiled, I knew he was going to potect me at all costs.

I took a deep breath and grabbed my backpack, and we both left the condominium.
