I guess it just wasn't meant to be, was it. I've spent the best years of my youth trying to build up something that was always going to fall down no matter what. I've been carrying this burden on my back for as long as I can remember, and when I finally let go everything fell apart.
I guess I couldn't be the glue and the builder at the same time. I needed you to put in some effort too. But I guess this wasn't as important to you as it was for me.
The painful thing is that I will still always miss and cherish you even though I know you'll probably never ever think of me again. If it wasn't meant to be I shouldn't have forced it, cause now I'm the only one living with regrets.
