RIAS POV
I run out of the hospital as fast as my legs could carry me. How could he not remember me? Was playing throughought my thoughts simualtaniously. I see a bench a few yards away and start to make my way towards it. I do feel bad for not doing much about helping Kian with his misunderstanding of who I am...but Andrea was the one who hit him with that truck! How in the world can he think that she's his girlfriend?!
I would've driven myself insane if Sam didn't come and sit beside me.
"Ria...are you ok?" he asks sweetly while planting a kiss on my forehead.
"Honestly...no. I just don't get it!" I cry into his chest.
"Well, after you ran out of the room, Kian's nurse came in with some news about Kian's health," he carries on and I nod, telling him to say more, "he's got some brain damage. Kian...he...eh..he has lost 6 months worth of memory, so that's why he doesn't remember you. Technically, in his mind, he hasn't met you yet. I'm so sorry babe" he wraps his arms around my shoulders and back and pulls me into a hug. I sit there processing everything. When suddenly an idea pops into my head.
"I KNOW HOW TO HELP KIAN!!" I shout, shooting up from my place on Sam's lap, "C'MON!!" I drag Sam towards my car. Earning a very muffled "where are we going?" from himself.
"I have so many photos and videos on Kian and I's laptops. Surely if that doesn't help him remember, then I don't know what will..." I answer a bit louder than I intended, turning a few ciziten's heads towards us. Oops...
Ria's House
Sam goes into my living room where Kian's laptop is,(Honestly, I don't even know why it's here anyway. Sam must've brought it here as his broke last week), while I run upstairs to retrieve mine from my room. I plop down beside Sam on the couch and start up the first video of Kian and I on my desktop. It's titled "First Singing Video w/ Kian Lawley". I must've planned on uploading it to YouTube but never got the chance to. Sam clicks play and the video transitions from blackness into Kian strumming the chords to Say Something by Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World. His voice is so heavenly. I feel a hot tear rolldown my cheek. At the end of the video, there is an edited extra video attached of Kian, he says "Please subscribe to my lovely girlfriend, Ria Lizzie Milton. She is amazing and has the best voice ever. Check out her channel for more awesome covers. M'wah!!!" The edited date was exactly 3 days before the accident...he must've edited this, because I sure as hell didn't.
"Sam...I hope this works.." I confess.
"I didn't know you two were dating..." Sam stares at me.
