Chapter 22

Miruna's POV

He has strapped me to a chair, in the centre of a dark room. Before you ask, NO, I don't know where we are. The windows were mirrored on the inside so I couldn't see out. But I still have my phone in my back pocket, if only I could reach it. That bastard just had to tie my hands behind my back. I wriggle my small hands around in the poorly tied rope, desperately trying to free myself. IT'S GETTING LOOSER!! I scream in my head. I don't even know where he is...for all I know, he could be stood right beside me with a gun to my head. There's no way of knowing because there is not a glimer of light anywhere in...this..wherever the F I am just now!!

I hear a snap and the rope releases my wrists. I reach into my back pocket through the side of the chair. Pulling out my phone, all the lights flicker on in the...warehouse? The strange thing is...he is nowhere to be seen.

"IF YOU THINK OF PHONING YOUR PRECIOUS SISTERS...OR FRIENDS, I SUGGEST YOU DROP THE PHONE NOW OR THERE COULD BE CONSEQUENCES!!! DROP THE F***ING PHONE!!" his voice echoes throughout the space surrounding me. Clinging onto my phone, I dial Ria's number. He steps out behind a corner room with a rifle in his hand. He lifts it and positions it at me, stepping closer each second passing. "I SAID DROP THE PHONE!!" I heard Ria answerr so I locked my screen and placed it on the ground behind me.

Ria's POV

Sam and I are sat on my bed trying to make sense of this whole situation until we are interrupted by my phone going off--ring...ring...ring...

I glance down at my phone resting between Sam and I's legs. The caller ID presents Miruna's name. I swear I have never answered a call as quick as I have in my life, Sam signals for me to put it on speaker. I was about to speak when I heard a voice...

"Those sisters of yours have no idea where we are at this precise moment, and even if they do, we will be long gone by morning. I'm not going to tell you where because you will find a way to contact them!" Dad's voice echoes through the phone, "now are you sure that, that phone of yours is dead and turned off?"

"Yes fa-"

"I DIDN'T TELL YOU TO TALK!!!" He interrupts Miruna. At least she's still alive...for now

"I will be back for you in morning, sleep tight *evil laughs*" I hear a door slamming shut and a lock being turned.

"Ria!! You have got to help me! When I got in the car, he had a woman in there also, I wasnt in the car for long, maybe an hour or so..." Miruna panics.

"Wait...what did she look like?" Sam questions before I can.

"Long brunette/blondish hair, very tall, prominent cheekbones, greeny/blue eyes and was very pretty..I think her name was Abi?" Sam and I gasp at the same time.

"Miruna!!She was just here!! She came here not long after we called a private investigator!!" I exclaim to my sister.

"I hear him coming back, I am in a warehouse somewhere, ask Sam and Kian if they know any, I gotta go, if I die, tell Anthi I love her!!" that was the last thing I heard before sounded like something hit it and the line went dead.

Sam's POV

I think I know where the warehouse is. The opposite side of LA, 2hrs away approximately. I run downstairs with Ria following close behind and tell Anthi and Kian what Miruna said and everything about Abi.

"WELL WE GOTTA GO!!" Anthi pratically screams in my face, "COME ON, SHE COULD DIE!! HE KNOWS THAT SHE WAS ON THE PHONE TO YOU GUYS NOW!! HE SAID THERE WOULD BE CONSEQUENCES!! RIA COME ON!!" she pulls at Ria's arm trying to get her to stand up from the couch.

"No. If I know anything about dad, it's that he can't handle the dark, as soon as dusk hits, we will leave, get there about 11pm. Okay? Sam says he knows how to get there." Ria argues while looking at me, smiling. "I have my provisional licence, I can drive."

"Ughhh...fine, but if she dies, its all on you."

"She wont die, I promise" My girlfriend gets up and wraps her arms around her sister. They pull apart and me and her go back upstairs. "I'm setting my alarm for 3hrs time, 8'oclock. We can have a little sleep and get ready for this mission."

She falls back onto the bed into my arms and starts to cry. She wipes her tears away after a while. I kiss her forhead, "go to sleep, I love you." I whisper to her.

"I love you too."

An hour and she has turned over and wrapped herself in the blankets, I get up and turn off her alarm. Tiptoeing down the stairs I go up to Kian on the couch, "Dude, where's Anthi?"

"Asleep in the den, why? where's Ria?" Kian replies.

"Asleep in bed, the plan was to leave at 8pm but it will be too dangerous for the girls, it's getting dark now, lets go. When they wake up in the morning, Miruna will be safe at home." I drag Kian outside grabbing Ria's car keys on the way.

I start up her black convertable mercedes and type in the address of the neighbourhood where the warehouse is located, once we get to the neighbourhood I will know where to go...what could go wrong?
