emma's pov.
"Emma, I need you."
"And I don't."
"What?"
"Ethan, I need you too. But I can't have you."
"Why not?"
"Because of what you did to me. You just left without even letting me explain. Relationships are about communication, trust... honesty! And you clearly didn't have any of those things. What makes you think I want a relationship with you now?"
"But Emma, Ive learned. I know that was a terrible mistake on my part and I was stupid and I was dumb. But I promise to never do it again because I know what it did last time I did it and I don't want that to happen again."
"I'm sorry, Ethan. But it's gonna take me time to gain our friendship back, a relationship is asking too much." I say.
"I understand." He sighs with his head low.
He walks out the door, his head still hung low.
I felt like complete shit. I needed him too. I cant live without him. But the pain he's caused can never go away. I can forgive but I can never forget. I missed him way too much. But it'll take time.
