emma's pov.
I was finally back home. In the comfort in my own bed, that hospital one really was hurting my back. I was sipping on my coffee, watching Olivia's new youtube video. I heard my doorbell ring causing me to groan VERY loudly.
I peeled the covers off of me and tortured down the stairs. I opened the door only to be faced with Ethan, his head hung low, and his hands against the sides of the door. "Ethan? Is everything okay?"
"Can I come in?" He sniffles. Was he crying? I move to the side to let him in, and he walks in and sits down on the couch. I close the door and walk over and join him, sitting next to him.
"What happened?" I may not like him anymore, but I still have to be there for him.
"I know I'm stubborn and stupid sometimes-"
"Sometimes?" I cut him off.
"All the time. But why couldn't you tell me?" He asks finally looking up. "Tell you what?" I say in confusion.
"About Derek."
"Ethan, I'm not having this conversation-"
"Grayson told me." He interrupts. My eyes widen. "What?"
"Grayson told me what happened. Why didn't you tell me?"
I sigh, looking down at my hands. I told Grayson not to say a word.
"I didn't want to you. You left without an explanation, I decided you must not care enough." I said.
"But I did care. And I still do. How could you think that?"
"How could I not?" I raised my voice " You literally just left me! You didn't ask or come by ever again. You had no idea what happened and you so easily believed everything and walked away not once looking back."
"You never came to me." He said.
"Ya, It's my fault," I scoffed.
"Emma, I cant believe these past months went by without you by my side. Over my stupid mistake. I didn't ever think that for once I was wrong or that maybe it was my fault. You probably hate me and don't wanna speak to me ever again, but I miss you. I need you back Emma. I need you."
