chapter twelve: why does she look so familiar?

"Mother i am home!" i yell out. I do not even know if she is home, so if she is, she will know. Cause you know i am a good daughter and all...

I walk into the kitchen and grab a bag of chips. Why am i eating? I literally just ate like 2 hours ago.

"Anna Nicole!?" i high pitched voice rang throughout the house. The door bursts open and Gus appears.

"Anna you're home! Adam brought home a witch. You need to help" Gus blubbered. I nearly laugh.

"Sure, Gus. so who is this witch?" i ask and laugh. He glares at me and leads me into the living room.

"No, Anna this girl is evil!" Gus says. Who did Adam bring home? I remember when i lived here Adam used to bring home girls to 'play with' yeah my brother was/is one of those guys.

We enter the living room and i right away see platinum gold hair. I shove the chips in my mouth and walk over in front of them. I see right away that Adam has on his flirty smile as he talks to her. I get a closer look at her, and see she looks familiar.

I shove another handful of chips in my mouth and continue to stare at her. Why does she look so familiar?

She stands up and straightens down her skirt.

"Hey Anna Nicole" she says who is she and why is she calling me by my real name?

"Uhm hi" i wave to her and swallow my chips. I take another handful of chips and look at her weirdly.

"You probably don't recognize me. That's a shame, but anyways nice to see you again, bestie" she says cockily and i start choking on my unfinished chips in my mouth. How could she be here? Who the bell let her in?

I totally forgot about her! How does she know about me being back?

I get my coughing under control and i stare at her.

"Why are you here?" i spit out and send her one of my best dirtiest looks.

"What do you mean? I'm just checking on my bestie after all you did leave for 4 years without saying bye" she says innocently. I am about to throw my chips at her.

Anyways I know she knows what happened, and i know he knows that she is the cause of it.

"Just get out of my house. You are not wanted. I do not know who the hell let you in, but you need to leave now" i say as calmly as possible.

"Adam doesn't want me to leave" she says and i give her a glare and turn to Adam who is eyeing me. I send him one of my worst glares, and he nods at my silent words.

"Yeh, i think it's best if you leave, Kaitlyn" he says and she huffs and leaves.

Gus was not wrong about the witch part.

Adam leads her to the front door, and i pull my hair and sit on the couch. I can't believe she had the nerve to come into my house and acted like nothing happened.

Adam comes back and sits down next to me and stares at me.

"What?" i spit and he blinks at my harsh tone.

"Sorry" he apologises and i feel like i am about to pounce at him

"Why in heaven's name did you let her in this house. With me inside of it. I hatw her, and i do not ever want to see her again. I know you know why I don't like her! I just can not believe this" i yell out at him.

I am so infuriated i can not even function. It is like every part of me is on the point of breaking. I can not believe she even came. I feel like exploding, but i can't. I can not be weak. It pains me that she had the nerve to come when she literally ruined me
