Chapter
“(y/n), c-come on, it’s time to wa-wake up,” Toby whispered in your ear as he tried to shake you awake. “But I don’t waaaaaannnnnnaaaaaaa,” you groaned, your (h/c) hair becoming even more messy as you squirmed. Toby laughed and kisses your forehead, saying, “Slenderman wants us a-a-all to go downstairs. Splendorman is he-he-here, and he wants to meet y-you.” You groaned again as you sat up, hating the fact that you couldn’t get some more sleep as Toby hugging you close and helping you out of bed. “Besides, you’ve s-slept through the entire day! It’s almost di-din-dinnertime,” Toby mentioned as he turned around to let you get redressed. You blushed, trying to figure out how you could have slept for that long without being woken up, especially in this house, and after you got done dressing, you took Toby’s hand and you both headed downstairs.
When you got downstairs, you were surprised to see 2 Slendermans, your Slendy, and another that had eyes, a mouth, bells on the ends of his tentacles, and a polka dot suit on. Slendy looked at you as you came down the stairs, saying, “Ah, (y/n), this is my brother, Splendorman. Splendy, this is (y/n) our newest family member.” The one in the polka dot suit, Splendorman, came over to you taking your hand, happily saying, “It’s a pleasure to meet you (y/n). How are you getting along here at your new home?” “I’m doing good,” you replied with a smile, “It’s a lot better here than where I used to be, and I’m happy that I live here.” “That’s good! It’s always nice to see a new face around here, especially one that can make Mr. Grumpyface here not so grumpy,” Splendorman smiled as he motioned to Slendy, who was visibly irked by the name. You couldn’t help but laugh at this, and as you and Toby sat down on the couch, Clockwork came down the stairs with her bags.
When she saw the two of you, she gave you an evil glare, but avoided Toby’s gaze. Splendorman walked up to her then, placing a hand on her shoulder and asking, “Are you ready to go, little one?” She nodded in reply, and with that Splendorman said his goodbyes, mentioning that he would love to see you again soon, and teleported away with Clockwork.
You sat in the living room for a while, things getting really quiet, when Toby piped up. “Hey, wanna watch a movie?” he asked looking at you. You nodded, and as he went to go put in a movie, you went to the kitchen to grab some snacks. Slenderman was cooking however, and he stopped you as you started to dig through the cabinets. “(y/n) dinner should be ready in a few minutes...I don’t mind if you and Toby eat separately from the rest of us for tonight, but I did want to talk with you about something,” he said as he looked at you. You looked at him confused, saying “Sure what is it?” “I noticed a slight...change in your’s and Toby’s behaviors..is everything alright?” he asked, and you could practically see the concern pouring out of him. “Yes everything is fine...If anything it’s great! Toby asked me out earlier today, so now he’s my boyfriend….he was even nice enough to get me this,” you said smiling as you showed him your new locket. “Ah that must have been what set Clockwork off this morning...I am very sorry that you had to go through that, but I am glad that you’re happy here,” Slendy said as he finished fixing 2 plates of spaghetti for you and Toby, “I will let Splendorman know what set her off, as that will be helpful for him, but for now, you go have fun on your movie date.” You couldn’t help but smile even more as you took the plates and walked into the living room.
“Wh-what’s that?” Toby asked as he watched you walk in. “Dinner,” you said as you handed him on and got comfortable. Toby started the movie, and you realized that he had picked a horror movie. You finished eating quickly, feeling starved and when scary parts in the movie came up, you hide your face in Toby’s shirt, to which he laughed and said, “You can t-take the sight of re-real blood, but you c-c-can’t stand this?” “S-Shut up,” you said with a blush, mentioning,” There is a difference….those people are innocent...that guy wasn’t.” Toby nodded understanding what you ment, and the rest of the movie went on without anything really eventful happening.
Near the end of the movie, you yawned, starting to get sleepy. Toby noticed this, stopped the movie, and picked you up, carrying you up the stairs. When you got to your room, you started to protest, until he tucked you into his bed and laid down with you, holding you close. “Toby, what if…?” “Don’t w-worry...Slenderman doesn’t mind th-things like this, as long as we don’t go t-too far we’ll be fine,” Toby interrupted you as he hugged you close, “Now let’s get s-s-some sleep ok?” You nodded, and as sleep started to take you, you couldn’t stop thinking about how kind Toby was.
