Chapter Three: A Woman?

No one's POV

The dragon cannot stop whimpering like nothing is really hurting it. But what was the reason why it was whimpering like it's in pain? The nets are just trapping it that's it. Nets aren't really damaging. It just traps you so that you cannot escape.

Lisa got closer and closer to the dragon, but this time, something really strange was happening. The dragon was shrinking. The tail was fading away and the wings disappeared. Lisa couldn't believe on what she was seeing right now.

A woman.

"Holy fucking god." She sweared. She prepared her dragon sword in case the lady would move. Well she did move. She opened her eyes, glaring at Lisa.

Her cat-like eyes were scary like she will kill you in less than a second. She was growling like a wild animal.

"Don't ever come near to me beast! I will kill you for God Jihyo's sake!" She gritted her teeth while smiling. She held her sword up in the air. About to kill her but then, she heard it whimper in pain like a dog.

"Who cares if you whimper, your not a dog!" She closed her eyes. She swinged her sword to the ground. The blade landed on the ground, like nothing happened at all. Lisa opened her eyes. There was nothing in front of her but only the net.

"W-what?" Lisa muttered. "She disappeared?!" Was it teleportation? The lady just disappeared like a ghost.

Suddenly, she felt like something was wrong. Someone was behind her. She turned around and saw the naked lady with blonde hair growling at her like a mad monster.

Lisa prepared her sword and was ready in a fighting position. She tried swinging the sword to the lady but it failed. The woman pounced at her chest and she landed on the ground. Her hand was on Lisa's chest that Lisa couldn't move. She was too strong. Her cat-like eyes met Lisa's doe eyes. Her glare was too powerful that Lisa's strength faded away. Lisa could hear the growls coming from her mouth. She opened her mouth and roared at Lisa's face really loud. Lisa had to close her eyes so that the fear could go away from her.

The woman ran away from Lisa really quick and disappeared again.

Lisa forgot how to breathe.

She stood up and grabbed her sword. Putting it back to her back. She almost fainted going home. Lisa thought that she would slay the dragon with her new sword given by her girlfriend. But it was too complicated.

As Lisa was on her way home, she saw someone familiar with another lady who looked new.

"Oh Lisa-yah!"

"Jisoo unnie?"

Jisoo, the best archer among all the elves. With another girl who had blue hair and blue eyes. She looked very foreign though.

They came closer to Lisa and Jisoo started to speak.

"Lisa, this is Billie Eilish. She's a dragon hunter."

Lisa's eyes widened.

"Dragon hunter? From what nation?" Lisa asked, jealousy was also written all over her face.

"Oh I came from the Hunter's League. But I originally came from this nation. The blade nation perhaps." Billie smiled. "I practiced hunting dragons when I was younger, but not in this land."

Lisa frowned. She never knew about this. She thought that the blade nation has never killed a dragon in history.

"B-but, I thought this nation has never killed a dragon in history. That's unfair, I wanted to be the first person to kill a dragon in this nation." She pouted.

Billie chuckled. "Don't worry young fighter. One day you'll take my place as a dragon hunter. Once I die you'll be the next greatest dragon hunter in history." She smiled.

"Well, okay. Got that. But I have to go home now."

"Okay. We'll meet again tomorrow Lis. Goodbye!"

"Bye."

Lisa was very jealous. Today was a bad day, she didn't get to kill the Light Fury and now there was a hunter who killed dragons since before? Maybe that's the reason why the Light Fury is very mad to the blade nation right now.

Lisa opened the door and was greeted by Rosé who was eating chocolates.

"Lalisa!" Rosé ran to her and hugged her in a tight hug. "Did you kill it yet?"

Lisa was speechless. But since it's her girlfriend, she's going to tell the truth.

"No, Rosé. I'm sorry." Lisa looked down. "And is it true?" Tears were starting to form in her eyes. "Billie Eilish was the first dragon hunter in our nation?"

Rosé putted her both hands on Lisa's cheeks. She wiped her tears away with her thumb.

"I'm sorry but I didn't tell you this before but yes. A long time ago our land was full of dragons. We wanted to kill them but it was too complicated for us. Then suddenly, Billie Eilish returned to our nation. She saved us from those dragons until this Light Fury became too hard for her to kill. The Light Fury got more angry when her fellow dragons got slained by Billie."

"When did that happen Rosie? I never heard of it and how did you know?"

"My mom told me when I was younger and it happened about 50 years ago."

"But, why does Billie look young though? She's probably in her 70s right now."

"Well, she was part of the Hunter's League and they recommend all hunters to drink this potion that would keep them young."

Lisa just nods. "By the way Lisa I will be away for one month since our family will be having a month reunion."

"What? I will miss you again!"

"Don't worry Lisa I'll come back of course why would I leave you like forever." Lisa just pouts. Rosé petted her hair and smiled. "Your such a cutie Limario."

"When are you leaving?" Lisa asked in her baby voice.

"Tomorrow morning at 9AM. Is it okay if you fetch me to the boarding station? There's like a lot of boats in there."

"Well of course! I'm gonna miss you for too long again!"

"Oh Lisa....." a soft voice yet deep woke Lisa up. The voice echoed like a ghost was hunting her down.

Lisa stood up and looked at her surroundings. She was in the woods where she failed catching the Light Fury. Confusion and fear was written all over her face. But she has to be brave.

"Why did you try to kill me?" The voice was heard behind Lisa. She quickly turned around with a gasp. But nobody was there at all.

"Your people killed my fellow friends." This time it was a whisper. She gasped again and turned to the right. Still nothing.

"All I wanted was peace but your people made my angry!" Lisa was pushed on the ground. She felt a heavy pressure on her chest. She looked up and saw the Light Fury about to breathe fire then BOOM!
