Chapter 13 : To The Next Phase

For the last weeks, Aqours practiced for the Regional Qualifiers. As their Regional Qualifiers will be held in Taipei. Aqours prepared for it.

Yoshiko's confession to Hanamaru, made Hanamaru remembered a promise that Yoshiko made that she'll only tell her secret once they've developed a connection.

They've arrived at Taipei, 5 days before the Regional Qualifiers.

"Okay guys, no practice for tomorrow, as we have just arrived today. Tomorrow, we'll just have some fun and relax a bit. We must not overwork our bodies. So, feel free to go to where you want to go. But be at the hotel by 7pm, okay?" Riko commanded. She gave the group a day-off before the Reginal Qualifiers.

The rest nodded.

Everyone was tired, and planned to sleep, except for two girls.

"Zuramaru?" Yoshiko asked in confusion. She didn't expected for Hanamaru will stay up late.

"Yo!!!!" Hanamaru said. She waved at Yoshiko.

Never hearing a 'Zura' gave Yoshiko a concern.

"Zuramaru, are you alright?" Yoshiko asked.

"No." she replied. Yoshiko was glad that she asked.

"What happened? I mean, nothing wrong happened in the past days, right?" Yoshiko asked. She's concerned at Hanamaru.

"What you said in the past few weeks stunned me. I don't even know that your father died, but when?" Hanamaru asked. That's what bugging her.

"Ohh..." Yoshiko said. She didn't expected that her revelation was the reason.

"Yeah. It ran thru my mind for the past weeks. I don't know how to confront you after that. We only had 'hello' as our only conversation. I know I shouldn't butt in, but I'm concerned. I love you, and I don't want for you to carry this burden alone. So please tell me when?" Hanamaru said with a concerned tone, and hugged Yoshiko. Yoshiko returned the hug, and the stayed that way.

"It was during middleschool. My father had a heart attack. It was sudden. I prayed and I prayed, but nothing happens. He died two days after. That was the toughest days of my life, as I don't know how I'll live after that. I love my Papa and Mama, but I know Mama is sad as well. We loved Papa, as he's so kind. He always gave us joy whenever he's around. But Papa told me to be strong, but...but...BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW?!?!?!?!?" Yoshiko broke into tears.

Hanamaru comforted her for the rest of the night. It was a genuine moment for them.

It lasted for 30 minutes, before Yoshiko started to talk.

"Zuramaru..." she looked at Hanamaru's eyes. This made Hanamaru confused, but then...

She kissed her.

Hanamaru was shocked, and broke the kiss.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!?!?!?!?" Hanamaru asked. She can't understand what's happening.

"My reply." Yoshiko responded.

"What?" Hanamaru asked again. She doesn't understand what Yoshiko's saying.

"My reply to your confession, silly. It means yes. I'm now your girlfriend." Yoshiko said and kissed Hanamaru, this time, passionately.

Hanamaru was in a bliss. Her dreams came true.

"To the next phase now, which is marriage, Zura." Hanamaru thought, as she's too happy to say a word, or overthink things.

It lasted for 20 minutes, before they decided to sleep.

"Goodnight, dear." both said in unison, before they go to sleep.

The next day

"GOOD MORNING!!!! HOW'S YOUR SLEEP GUYS?????" Riko shouted. She woke up in the best way possible, for her at least.

"Fine, until you've shouted for no reason." Ai said in frustration. She's not mad at Riko at all, but she's pissed that her sleep was interrupted.

"Sorry about that guys, but we have a great announcement!!!!" Riko said in joy.

"What is it?" the rest responded in unison. Shuka, Yoshiko and Hanamaru were still sleepy.

"WE'LL REALLY GO TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN FOR THE FINALS!!!!" Riko said in joy. The rest were happy about this, but it interrupted their sleep, she they felt a 50/50 for it.

"That's great news. So today's a free day for us, right?" Ai asked.

"Yes. You can go whenever you want, but be sure to be back at the hotel by 7pm. We need to talk some matters about our song. We must advance, YuYi's group already advanced, so we must do the same!!!!" Riko said with determination. The rest then nodded to her.

They all planned to enjoy this off-day, but for the two specifically, this will be their first day as a couple.

Riko read their reactions, and guessed that they're a couple now.

"Hmmmm...I guess that all of our helped succeeded, huh? I'm happy. Now on to the next phase." Riko thought. She's happy that the two finally hooked up together.

"They're meant to each other. It's destiny."

Heyyas!!! New chapter here!!!

Yeah, this was a long update. I've been invested too much into Go Toubun no Hanayome at this point, that I'm more focused at waiting for the update. But it won't gonna stop me from finishing this Fic.

I'm almost done with this. And maybe if I'm done with the other Fic, I might take a break from making FanFics. I just need to recharge and grab inspiration to write again. But I'll be back, cause I got a lot more to write. I'm enjoying this too much, and I just need to take a break for a moment to re-evaluate my writing style.
