Chapter 5 : I Guess Noppo Bread Doesn't Work on Practice Days

Aqours had practiced for 3 weeks now. They practiced at the rooftop, as it was the only place that isn't occupied. And since Riko finally informed the crew that she's in a relationship, this sparks the rest to get jealous a bit.

Today was no different. They were practicing for the upcomming qualifiers for Love Live, and during practice, Riko will finally say what's their true goal.

"I wish I would have a girlfriend too, Zura." Hanamaru frowned. It shocked everyone, especially Yoshiko.

"That's sudden, but I have something to say today." Riko said, and clapped her hands to gain the attention of everybody.

"What, we had a goal, Zura?" Hanamaru asked in confusion. She thought that they'll just gonna dance and sing and represent the school.

"Yeah, we have an actual goal?" Shuka asked. She too is confused.

"I hope it won't be 'our school is closing and we must save it' shtick." Yoshiko thought.

"Really?" Ai said.

"And don't worry, our school won't close nor a dwindling number of students. Those don't exist." Riko said, which gave everyone a sigh of relief.

"So what is it?" Yoshiko asked.

"We'll make School Idols international!!!" Riko proclaimed, which suprises everyone. "Our goal is to create a new wave of School Idols, not just in Japan, but in the entire world!!!!!"

"Wow!!!" Shuka could only say. She's amazed at Riko's optimism.

"In this year's Love Live, the second round of the qualifications will be held outside of Japan. Each region's qualifiers will be held on different Asian Nations. And if that succeeds, the Finals will be held at Madison's Square Garden at New York City!!!!!" Riko said in excitement.

"So, we really need to practice, Zura?" Hanamaru asked.

"YES!!!! BIG TIME!!!!" Riko replied in excitement. "We must have a variety of songs to choose from, and we must be great at the qualifiers, so we could have a high chance to win Love Live!!!"

"So, let's go back to practice now!!!" Yoshiko said.

Everyone nodded.

As they were in an intense session, as two weeks is left before the first round of qualifiers will start, they needed to take a quick break. As one person is tired already.

"Hanamaru-chan, rest a bit." Ai said. Hanamaru worn out fast, as they were just two hours in into their practice.

"Yeah Hanamaru-chan, took a break for a bit." Shuka said, and smiles at Hanamaru, showing that they won't get mad at her.

"Yeah, let's take a 15-minute break." Riko said, and she grabbed Yoshiko's hand and pulled her away from the pack.

"Why did you pulled me?" Yoshiko asked.

"Now's your time to make a move!!!!" Riko said.

"I mean, you like Hanamaru-chan, right? This is your shot to increase your chances!!!" Riko said, but not too loud for the others to hear.

"W-What should I do?!?!?!?!" Yoshiko said. She has no clue on what to do.

"Gave her food and drinks. You know, something that could replenish her body." Riko said. She wants to help, but she needed Yoshiko to make a move for it to happen.

"I have a Noppo Bread. She likes these." Yoshiko said. Finally she at least has something to give.

"Give it to her!!!!" Riko said. Yoshiko followed Riko's word and went to Hanamaru.

"Zu-Zu-Zuramaru, Noppo Bread. Here!!!" Yoshiko then gave a Noppo Bread to Hanamaru. But Hanamaru didn't liked it.

"I appreciate your concerns, Zura. But I don't like Noppo Bread-" before Hanamaru could continue, Yoshiko cut in.

"BUT I THOUGHT YOU LIKE NOPPO BREAD?!?!?!?!" Yoshiko asked in confusion.

"I don't like Noppo Bread if I'm in a practice, Zura. Hihihi, at least let me finish, Zura." Hanamaru said and giggled.

"I guess, Noppo Bread doesn't work on Practice Days, huh?" Yoshiko said, which made Hanamaru laugh.

"But you can give it later at my home, Zura." Hanamaru said and smiles, which gave Yoshiko a mad blush.

"Lucky, I thought it will fail but it went for the better. Hope you won't waste that chance." Riko thought and was relieved that they will see each other faster.

"O-O-Okay." Yoshiko said nervously.

They went on and continue their practice for an hour, before Riko called it a day.

Yoshiko is about to go to Hanamaru's house, as Hanamaru suggested to her. They were walking as Hanamaru said her home is just a walking distance from School.

"My house is not that big, and my family aren't at home, so I hope you'll enjoy your stay, Zura." Hanamaru said.

"No, NO!!! I'm cool if it's big or small. I live in an appartment so don't worry if your house is small." Yoshiko said. She was panicking at the fact that they'll be alone.

"I'm glad that we've meet again, Zura." Hanamaru said. She smiles at Yoshiko.

"I guess I'll have a wonderful time of my life."

Yeah, finally a YoshiMaru centric chapter. There's more so don't worry. This was a late update as I needed to take a rest for a day as I just came back from a flu. So I needed to take it easy from time to time.

BTW, congrats to Hanamaru for being the center for the 4th single!!!
