Chapter 11 : Girlfriend?!?!?!

Three days had passed since Yoshiko's confession. Aqours started their training for the 2nd qualifiers. But one particular member has a hard time moving on.

Hanamaru's POV

Since that day, when Yoshiko-chan confessed to me, I just don't know what to do.

In fact, I didn't gave her a response. I just don't know what to do.

"Hanamaru-chan?" I was shocked, but it was Riko-chan who asked me.

"Uhm, what is it Riko-chan?" I asked. Gladly practice ended early today.

"Can we have a talk? Don't worry, I don't have plans today, and YuYi had already told me about this." Riko said.

"Sure." I replied. I guess having a chat with Riko-chan will help me.

We went to the rooftop, cause that's what the main characters do, right?

"So I heard about the confession." Riko said seriously. "I guess it affected you in a lot of ways."

"What is it?" I asked. I don't get it, she knew this?

"You never said 'Zura' since that day, you were not focused on your task, you forced your smile when you talked to us, you are always uncertain om your choice of words, but most importantly, when Yoshiko-chan talked to you, you became nervous, you always stutter, or you just blush madly. These things are just a few of what you are after that confession. I know I shouldn't butt in, but I know you love her, right?" she said, and it hit right home.

"N-N-No!!!!!" I said. I just lied. I don't understand why, but I'm too scared to admit it.

"I see, you do love Yoshiko-chan. The way you acted after that confession proves it. You waited for too long for you to hear her say that, right?" she said and winked at me, I just blushed. "You can't hide your emotions, huh? I guess I'll help you."

"What? I-I-I mean, I'm n-n-not ready!?!?!?!?!" I said, but I was unsure if that's the words I want to spill.

"Can you be honest to yourself?" Riko asked, she finally said it. "You're a kind girl, but you always neglected your own happiness. You ignored what your heart is trying to say. I guess you're head-over-heels for her, right? She cofessed to you, but with the help of YuYi, you know." when Riko-chan said that, I was shocked.

"Helped?" I said. I didn't understand the last part.

"You know, she too can't tell the truth to you. Because she's shy like you, shy to be honest to what she truly felt. You know, you won't reach too far in life if you act like that. You shouldn't hesitate to be yourself and be true to what you feel, because you don't know the results if you don't try, right?" Riko-chan said. Her words encouraged me a lot, for some reason.

"Okay." is all I could respond.

"Cheer up, will ya? You know, you're a great person, you just needed to be true to yourself. Don't try to hide under the curtains, because you shine brighter than a diamond, you were just ignoring it. Now, go to the clubroom, she's there!!!!!" Riko-chan said and pushed me. "NOW GO TELL TO YOSHIKO-CHAN THAT YOU LOVE HER!!!!!"

"I WILL RIKO-CHAN, AND THANK YOU!!!! I OWE YOU A LOT, ZURA!!!!" I said anx sprinted towards to the clubroom.

I guess, what I needed all this time was a push for me to move forward.

End of Hanamaru's POV

Hanamaru ran towards to the clubroom, once she reached there, she saw Yoshiko, just like what Riko said.

"Z-Z-ZURAMARU?!?!?!?!?!" Yoshiko said, she was suprised that Hanamaru ran and went to the clubroom. "W-W-WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?!?!?!?!?!"

"Yoshiko-chan, I have something to say to you. Something that I wanted to say ever since we've met." Hanamaru said, and mustered up all the courage she could take.

"W-W-WHAT?!?!?!?!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN ZURAMARU?!?!?!?! I DON'T GET IT, NOT A SINGLE BIT!!!!! YOU'RE WEIRD TODAY!!!!!" Yoshiko shouted. She's blushing madly. The thought of them being alone in the clubroom is something she couldn't imagine.

"Since you had confessed to me three days ago, it is rude if I didn't gave you a reply." Hanamaru said, and held Yoshiko's shoulder.

"ZURAMARU?!?!?!?!?! WHAT'S THIS!?!?!?!?!?! I DON'T UNDERSTAND!?!?!?!?!?!" Yoshiko was blushing madly. But before she could know it, her lips met Hanamaru's

Hanamaru just kissed Yoshiko, but it only lasted for 10 seconds before she break the kiss.
