The living quarters of the Dillenger building were massive. Everyone had their own apartment with Harley and Hampton sharing one on the same floor as Finn. Shane occupied the entire top floor penthouse where we ate dinner.

We walked out of the dining room and left the others to Finish talking, their laughter dying quickly as the door shut. I quickly made a  mental note that the room must be sound proof like his office. Shane glanced back at me and grabbed my hand in his. The wine was definitely starting to have effect and my entire body felt hot radiating from our interlocked hands. The contrasting textures of our hands excited me.

He pulled me along down a hallway showing me the kitchen where there will always be a chef on staff. The kitchen was beautiful, as was everything in the building. Deep mahogany cabinets lined the walls broken up by stainless steel appliances. A giant island sat in the middle of the kitchen with bar stools neatly lined around the white marble countertop. The side that held another sink and countertop stove was the only side to not have chairs around it.

We continued on, hand in hand to another hallway that opened up to an immaculate and massive living room. The floor was sunk in lower than the hallway with two stairs leading to plush white carpet covering the floor. Pristine white couches sat on the matching carpet with black and gold throw pillows lining each couch.

Two entire walls were glass and we looked down on the beautiful city. The taxis and people looked so small from twenty stories high. looking out across the dark city was breathtaking, everything was illuminated in the late evening hours, this defiantly was the city that never sleeps. The lighted city drowned out any stars in the sky and that was the only thing that saddened me about the view in front of me. I'd love to see the constellations as well as the beautiful city.

Out the right window Central Park sat carpeting the land with its beautiful snow covered trees. Small lights danced in the snow every once in a while and I thought how it must feel so wonderful to run the park at night in the snow like those few people were with their headlamps. All the beauty of the snow covered and sparkling city was all too much to take. I sighed with content.

"There's still one more hallway love" Shane whispered in my ear, his breath tickling my neck causing my eyes to flutter shut. As I pressed myself against the wall made of glass I couldn't think of anything except him in that moment. I pushed myself off the glass and noticed the contrast of my burning flesh and the frigid January air outside had caused steamy handprints to form. I turned around facing him with my back pressed against the window.

Shane stood inches in front of me placing one hand on the glass, forming another steamy handprint, on the side of my head. His right hand came up to my chin tilting it up to face him. I saw nothing but Shane as his strength radiated around me. The muscles in his arm were massive and dwarfed me, making me feel safe and enticed at the the same time.

His fingers pushed my hair behind my shoulder then slowly wound into the hair at the base of my neck pulling my face even closer to him. My mind cleared of everything except Shane as our breaths mixed together in the small space between our lips. I was instantly aware of all the places where his body touched mine as he pulled his hand from the window and rested it where my shirt met my jeans.

Pushing my shirt up slightly his fingers glided across the soft skin on my side. My body heated even more the longer his fingers danced across my side ever so slowly. Goose pimples sprung up and spread from my stomach to my chest then onto my back, causing my skin to be overly sensitive to every small touch Shane made on my body.

Finally after what felt like an eternity he lowered his lips to mine but still not touching them. I needed him to hurry up and kiss me.  The scent of woods and a small touch of citrus filled my nose as his body heat made the scent of his cologne even stronger. I wanted all of him. I slowly closed my eyes and rested my hands on his hips. The rough feel of his slacks sitting on top his hips disappointed me, I wanted to feel his skin. I bit my bottom lip in agitation and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Love, you biting that lip is not something I can handle."  He whispered into my lips with frustration but I could hear the smirk on his lips as he finished "At least here in my living room."

I opened my eyes barely and saw his smoldering ash grey eyes focused on my lips. I quickly let go of my lip, causing my mouth to open slightly. As I did my bottom lip gently grazed across his top lip. It felt like an electric shock had ran from where my lip touched his all the way down my body. Shane growled in response pulling me into his chest and molding his lips against mine.

This kiss was different than our first, this was hungry and needing. His muscular body pushed against mine pinning me to the glass with the snow falling on the beautiful city below us. I raised my hips to meet his and the small movement sent him over the edge. Shane sucked my bottom lip into his mouth while he shifted his body, lowering it to match my height. I quickly moved my hands as he lowered and wrapped my arms around his neck. I could feel every muscle in his shoulders move as he reached below my hips and pulled me up lifting my feet off the ground. I wrapped my legs tightly around his slim waist and crossed my feet hanging down his backside.

Shane worked his tongue to meet mine deepening the kiss as he walked out into the hallway away from the room that had quickly become my favorite. One of my arms lay on his shoulder lazily and I found his hair with my other one. I knitted my fingers into his thick almond brown hair, pulling his head even closer to mine

Finally Shane stopped walking and used one hand to open an onyx wood door. He slowly pulled his lips from mine and looked into my eyes.

" In here," he told me " you can bite those beautiful lips all you want, Because then I can do something about it." He murmured placing a gentle kiss on my lips then setting my feet back on the floor.

I turned around to see what I already knew would be his bedroom and my breath left me. I momentarily leaned back, resting my head on his chest. Shane wrapped his solid arms around my chest resting his chin on my shoulder. I felt his heartbeat on my back and the muscles in his arm flex as he leaned into my neck.

This room was by far the most beautiful room I had ever seen. It was apparently on the opposite end of the apartment as the living room because this room had two walls made of glass as well. Straight across from the door the glass overlooked the park again so it had to be on the same side as the living room, maybe just down the other hallway he had mentioned. The other side to my right faced a different side of the city. This side had no skyscrapers so the view of the city went for miles. Red lights and headlights from the cars littered every street making it look like a colorful maze.

The king sized ebony poster bed sat in the middle of the room facing the wall overlooking the park. It was neatly made with solid white bed linen. It wouldn't be neat for long I thought to myself. I wandered around the room while Shane followed me with his eyes as he leaned against the door frame. The far wall to my left as I looked out over the park was the bathroom and a walk in closet, both doors sat wide open.

I made my way back over to Shane who had his arms folded across his broad chest, with a smile across his lips. I loved how he towered over my five foot one frame. He pushed off the door frame and gently closed the door.

" And this room, love" he purred unbuttoning his shirt " is soundproof as well." He finished as his shirt fell to the ground.
