Monday ni Artemis

7:45 a.m.

People are running late everywhere. Well, I don’t run when I am late. I just walk. Grabe.

Time in: 7:58. Sabi sa inyo eh, pasok yun. Nangingiti akong pumunta sa cubicle ko. I don’t exactly like Mondays, but it seems that this one is giving me a hint of nice things to come. I wiped my desk clean, then nag-spray ako ng air freshener…hmmmmm….vanilla…love it!

“Good morning Miss Art, Miss Sarmiento would like to see you. She is at the board room now.” Si Les, ang Secretary ni Madam Chaos.

In punto alas ocho, sa board room? Ano ba yan? Ang aga naman ata nun ha! Ano pa ba magagawa? So, gora din…

Feel na feel ko ang paglakad to the board room because of my new high – heeled shoes. It’s a red stiletto…hehehe, nice one Artemis. In the mood ako in making a little catwalk right now, when…

            “Miss Art, Miss Art!”

Knock knock knock....

            “Come in...”

Whew! The lady in an eternal blue suit!

“I would like to discuss some matters regarding the advertisement project we are about to make...”

“Yes ma’am, I have made a few researches about the matter...here, take a look...”

I got an envelope from my files and handed it to my boss. She accepted it.

“I think, these are good...maybe, you should start collaborating with Aicee for the conceptualization of the design based on the theme you have presented. Then, we can present it to the board next week.”

            “Okay, ma’am.”

“And...by the way, someone is coming over today. He is from the art department of our sister company. He’d be staying to help with the designs. I will send him to you as soon as he arrives.”

            “yes, ma’am.”

Then, I left the board room. Whoa...it’s going to be a hectic week for me. No hassles kasi kapag ka-close mo ang makakasama mo. I was halfway towards my cubicle when I remembered na may naghihintay sa akin sa lobby. I called Ria.
