SEAN’S POV
“What the heck is this, kuya?
I felt Pauline yanking me. She pulled me away from Mitch.
“Anong ginawa mo kuya? Kahit kelan, ang tanga tanga mo! At ikaw naman girl, ang kapal din naman ng mukha mo na magpakita pa sa amin.”
Mitch just smirked at my sister. Ano nga bang nangyari? Why was I holding Mitch, much less, kiss her? Sheeeet! What have I done? I looked at Pauline. Lalo nang nagalit sa akin ang kapatid ko. I also caught the look of disappointment from my dad. Si Raegan, he looked at me digustingly.
Okay ito. Lahat sila galit sa akin.
“Babe, hayaan mo na sila.”
I looked at Mitch with anger and even rage.
“Are you out of your mind? What have you done?”
I stepped out of her way. I removed her hold on me. Dapat kong maayos ito. I would go after Art. Ang tanga ko ah.
Hurriedly, I got out of our house. Saan ko sya hahanapin?
“Hindi mo na sya pwedeng kausapin pa. Nasaktan yun. Sa tingin mo, pakikinggan ka nya?” sabi ni Raegan na sinundan pala ako.
“Anong gagawin ko?” I looked at him.
“Marami. Pwede mong gawin lahat. But, the fact remains that you screwed up, loser.”
Pagkasabi nya nun ay pumasok na sya sa aming bahay. Si Mitch naman ang sumunod sa akin.
“I want you back babe! Ano pa bang gusto mo? I swallowed my pride and let go of my career para lang balikan ka. Look, I can give you anything you want, love, happiness, anything...”
“Look, Michelle...I don’t want any of the love and the happiness from you. Much more, I don’t want anything especially if it is from you for the reason that, I don’t want you.”
Alam kong masakit ang sinabi ko. Pero, malabis akong nagtaka kung bakit hindi man lang nawala ang ngiti sa labi ni Mitch...
“Maybe you are just confused for now. Uuwi na muna ako. I will drop by tomorrow, babe.”
Then, she took off in her car. Naiirita ako sa kanya. Bakit nya nagawa sa akin ito? Siya na nga ang nang-iwan, sya pa ang maninira ng plano ko. I suddenly remembered Art. Nasaan kaya sya? Kung pupuntahan ko sya sa bahay nila, tiyak na magagalit ang nanay nya. Anong gagawin ko?
Perhaps, Raegan is right. The loser named Sean screwed up.
ARTEMIS’ POV
Bumalik ako sa dining room and in the verge of tears, nagpaalam ako sa pamilya ni Sean. Hindi ko na hinintay ang sagot ng dad nya, I turned my back and walked out. Hindi ko na napansin kung nasaan si Sean at si Mitch. Wala na akong pakialam kung nakatingin sila. All I know is that I have to walk out of this house with the least possible courage and dignity left in me.
Nakahinga ako nang nakalabas ako ng gate nila. Saan ako pupunta? Whew! What’s happening to Miss Sunshine? Nasaan na ang determination ko? Well, it seems, most of it ay nawala na...
I cannot go home like this. Eh saan naman ako pupunta? Grrrr...
I headed to the central park of the village...maraming tao that time. I sat at the bench by the fountain. Sheeet! This is so really not me!
