Chapter Three

Sean’s POV

“Concerned ka talaga saken no?

Spell weird.

Maaga kasi ako nag-out sa work. Excited much ako for tonight. LOLS

I sat on a comfy couch at my favorite spot once I got my order. My thoughts drifted to the time when there was a girl who would sit across me in this very spot...

“Why would you leave, Sean?  You can work in dad’s company. We can eventually live together.”

“Mitch, how many times should I tell you these: first, I don’t want to be in car delearship; second; I don’t agree with the idea of moving in together.”

            “Here we go again...”

“Yah, here we go again and it’s because of you and the damn pride of yours. Sean, it’s over. We’re done. Very much done!”

Pagkasabi nya nun, she walked away, no, she ran away...nagpakalayo - layo sya. She went to Paris to finish her studies there.  That’s the last thing I knew about her. I grieved after her departure. I really loved her.

After four years, it’s not practical to think about it anymore. Wala na ang lahat, the love, the regrets, the pain and the hope. Wala lahat. I grabbed my coffee and started to walk away from the place.

“Tonight, I am going to make a new story of my life...and it’s going to be the best.”

Nangingiti ako habang naglalakad. It’s almost dusk. Mga past 5 p.m. na. As I was about to make a turn to our street, hindi ko inaasahang makita si Artemis sa kabila ng daan.

“Goodness, boss! Si Miss Perfect oh...batiin mo...”

I can’t bring myself to greet her. Kinabahan ako and i don’t know what to say. Kaya instead of greeting her, I looked away and hurriedly walked home.
