Lin POV
After Pippa's baby shower I decided to go on a quick walk. I needed some fresh air. I was thinking about a possible new musical and I was trying to think of lyrics. About halfway around the block I decided I would walk instead to Central Park.
I knew Pipsqueak wouldn't mind if I was a little later than I said. I changed my route and began whistling a song from the Little Mermaid. I decided to text Pippa to tell her I was walking to central.
To Wife💕- Going to be later. Walking to Central Park.
From Wife💕- Okay. I have kisses waiting for you <3
I smiled at the text. Oh I had kisses for her too. Perhaps more. I looked up and stopped just before I would have run into a big man. "You trying to pick a fight little man?" the man slurred. He was drunk but I still treated him normally.
"No sir just takin' a walk." The man sneered at me and I shrunk away from him "I didn't tell you to speak to me Spanish bastard!" The man approached me and I was about to turn and run when I noticed he had a gun. And the gun was pointing at my chest. Then there was a bang and my life dissolved.
