Going Home

Lin's POV

I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. I had some minor complications and did a few tests and things after my surgery. We were finally able to leave mid day the fourth day of my stay. "You just have to sign these discharge papers and your free to go!" one of my nurses, Erica said. Pippa came to pick me up.

"Hey baby how are you doing?" she said placing a hand on her belly. "Good as new and ready to conquer anything!" I said brightly. "But you won't be doing much until next week." she said raising an eyebrow at me.

"Yes mother" I said rolling my eyes. She smiled and began driving. When we got home the first people to greet me were my parents and Sebastian "Oh Lin, estaba tan preocupado de que te perdiéramos, hijo mío!" my mother ranted pulling me into a hug.

"Gracias mamá también te amo.'[ I said hugging her back. Pippa touched my back and softly said "Lin n'oublie pas de dire bonjour à Sebastian, mon amour." "D'accord bébé" I replied turning and kissing her. "Mon fils comment ça va?" Sebby looked up at me and cocked his head to the side. " of course" I thought.

"We haven't gotten to that yet." I fixed my error and switched to Spanish "Mi hijo como has estado?" Sebby answered in his sweet voice "Estoy feliz." I smiled at his misuse of grammar and replied "Me alegro de mi muchacho." After that my mother left and we were alone.

We put Sebby to bed and Pippa and I sat on the couch cuddling while watching a show. "I've missed this." she said, cuddling into my side. "Me too love." I replied kissing her. "I promise I won't ever scare you like that again."

We stayed like that late into the night.
