Bringing Liam Home

Lin's POV

It was October 7th when Pippa and Liam Miranda were released from the hospital. I was ecstatic to bring my wife and our son home to Sebby, who hadn't seen "Mami" since Thursday night. I pulled into a parking space and walked through the main entrance where I was to pick up my new family.

Shortly after I arrived a nurse named Erica wheeled Pippa and Liam out of the elevator. Pippa brightened when she saw me standing there with balloons and a bouquet of flowers in my hand. "Hey baby." she said. "Hello Mrs. Soo-Miranda" I replied. I took her free hand and helped her from the wheelchair.

She made a slight cry when I pulled her in to kiss her, but quickly adjusted and kissed me back smiling into it. "I'll leave you guys now. Congratulations Miranda's" Erica said. "Thank you so much for taking care of my wife and son." I said smiling. "Anytime Miranda's" she replied.

We got into the car and I leaned over to kiss Pippa and Liam, my eyes were drawn to his face. The soft curve of his chin. His eye shape just like his mothers when she slept. I smiled and adjusted myself back into my seat.

Later that afternoon Pippa, still getting used to mother hood was sitting up in our bed breastfeeding baby Liam. She and Liam were both drained since we had had friends of the family such as Renee, Jasmine, and Chris over to meet the baby.

They all were kind and quiet talking only to the mother and myself and occasionally to Liam himself. Now I stood in the doorway of our bedroom looking in on my goddess-like wife and our son suckling at her breast. Sebby was curled up beside her, sleeping.

I walked over and plopped myself under the covers with her and wrapped my arms around her and our son's body. "How is my gorgeous wife doing in the world of motherhood?" I asked, kissing her temple. She sighed at the sensation of my face on her neck and whispered "I've missed that. Liam has been an angel in the hospital and Sebby and him love each other."

I nodded and said "How about we have a family nap the four of us. The kids are already asleep and we could cuddle." She smiled and nodded. "I would like that." We scooted until we were almost laying down.

Pippa turned to face me. "I love you so much Lin. I love our family so much" she said, smoothing my hair from my face like she did when we dated. "I love us too baby." I said. She turned over to wrap her empty arm around Sebby and I wrapped my arms around her to support her and the baby. She fell asleep quickly, her even breathing the only sound.

We stayed like that for the rest of the night.
