You sit on the stair feeling the breeze wrap around you as the trees swayed gently. You let a small sigh out and closed your eyes, you wondered when life changed and got so chaotic? Your twin sister Hailey was pregnant with the infamous Klaus Mikaelson's child. You knew everything about Klaus, including the stories told by the ones who survived his very existence.

Klaus Mikaelson was a vampire/werewolf hybrid, he was also very ruthless. Klaus was charming, ruthless- tall, dark and handsome as well. And you had fallen in love with him, and you knew where that would lead you so you didn't say anything about your feelings.

"Hey, everything okay?" You looked up at Rebekah and nod "Mhm." You hum.

She sat down besides you and looked at the trees swaying. Yes, you and Hailey were sisters but when it came down to it you and Rebekah were closer and acted more like sisters. So you viewed Rebekah as your sister.

"Klaus is busy being a pain in the ass inside, if you'd care to go calm him down." Rebekah mumbled.

"He doesn't need me to calm him down." You replied closing your eyes once again.

"You're the only who can. You're far different from Hailey remember?" Your mind drove back to that night where you and Klaus had your first real one-on-one experience.

"Y/n, what do I owe the pleasure?" You walked into the room and smiled towards Klaus politely.

"You're raging, and Elijah and Bekah have heard enough of it." You shrug "So I thought I'd see if there was anything bothering you." You add.

"You're nothing like Hailey, I thought twins were suppose to be the same." Klaus comments eyeing you, he slowly walked over to you with his drink in his hand.

"You're bright, funny, bubbly everything Hailey isn't. But when you come face to face with an enemy you-" His index finger touches your cheek gently before he continues.

"You're ruthless." He finishes looking you straight in the eyes.

"I suppose you're right." You whisper.

"So, go calm him down. Before I attempt to dagger him." She jokes you smile softly and head to Klaus.

"What?" He growls looking out the window refusing to look at who had entered the room.

"A little respect would be nice." You comment quietly, he looks over at you and stares for a second before looking out the window again.

"Your sister, and Marcel." Klaus growls again "What about them?" You ask walking over to him.

"He is offering her a way out if here. With my kid." Klaus grits his teeth, you watched his jaw clench shut.

"She won't leave." You whisper he looks at you as you stare at the trees "What makes you so sure?" You shrug.

"Because I stand in her way." You whisper "Try to calm down. You're ugly when you're mad." You walked out and he let the smile spread on his face.

He truly loved you, but you were Hailey's sister. He knew you would never be with him, he knew you could never love an abomination like himself so he stayed quiet. It was better to have you as a friend then to not have you at all.

∞Six Weeks Later∞

You stared at Hailey as you crossed your arms "I'm leaving, let's go." She whispered afraid Klaus would hear.

"That's his kid Hailey, we couldn't do that to him." You mutter stepping closer to her so she could hear you "It's me or him, Y/n. Make a choice." She picked the car seat carrier holding baby Hope as she spoke.

"Fine, but only because you're my sister and that's my niece." You sigh picking up the baby bag.

You both slipped out of the house and headed away from it, you knew what kind of pain Klaus would be in because he was losing his daughter. He always made comments about how he wanted to be a better dad then his own, and now he never would.

You reached past Marcel's and that's when you noticed something, you looked behind you for a quick second realizing you were being followed by some punk vampires of Marcel's.

You had grabbed Hailey's arm and pulled her further up the road a bit "Vampires." You whispered.

A few seconds later a fight had erupted "Get the baby out of here!" You snapped towards Hailey "Marcel said to kill it, now get her. I got her!" A vampires instructed heading towards you.

You fought with everything in you to keep baby Hope alive, you walked away bloody and beat up but with a happy little baby girl untouched.

"Y/n, take Hope you fought for her more then I did. Besides Klaus would never forgive me for trying to take her." You looked at Hailey knowing what she was hinting at.

"Go, Hailey. I know you love Hope but I know this isn't what you truly want." She hugged you and kissed her kid before she left.

You arrived back at the Mikaelson's, you stood right outside the door holding a baby bag and Hope when you heard Klaus.

"Go find them! I want Y/n and Hope safe! Screw that werewolf who mothered my child, she tried to take my child from me!" Klaus yelled.

You walked in weakly "Stop, Hailey is gone and we are staying." You spoke up.

Klaus was right in front of you examining you and Hope "Bekah, grab Hope. I'm gonna help Y/n." Klaus grabbed your hand and you froze for 0.5 seconds before you were pulled up to the bathroom.

"What happened? Tell me everything." Klaus spoke quickly and carefully.

You explained what happened and you saw the change in his demeanor "No, don't do anything. I kept Hope from getting hurt so I could bring her back to you." You whispered.

"You aren't leaving are you?" You shrugged "You have your child, and your siblings to help. I can go." He grabbed your arm and turned you around as you headed out of the bathroom.

When you turned around his lips were pressed to yours "I thought you could never love an abomination like me, so I never told you I loved you." He whispered when the kiss broke.

"I do love you, but you're not an abomination and you never will be." You whispered back.
