Lily's POV

I wince as I hear scraping on the ground, I look up and I see Bella trying to walk in heels, again.

"You just have to break them in," spoke up Alice. I wince once again when I hear scraping. Bella was learning how to walk in heels for her wedding, which is tomorrow.

"I've been breaking them in. For three days. Can l just go barefoot?" questioned Bella. There was no point to a wedding this big, Lily knew that, but she didn't want to get on Alice's bad side.

"No, absolutely not," Alice replied almost immediately. That was when I decided to voice my opinion,

"Alice would have a tantrum if you did, so for the sake of your cousin, and new family, just wear the heels," I spoke up.

"Just thinking it's a little much, you know? The dress and the shoes, and all of this," Bella replied. I know that she didn't want this, and I think that she was hoping that I would be able to tone the wedding down, but I am all for Alice's ideas.

"No, it's exactly enough. Tomorrow will be perfect," replied Alice. Both of us wanted this wedding to be perfect, it's not every day that a human married a vampire for love.

Though, I am kind of scared of what Alice would come up with if Carlisle and I were married. I know that she will make out wedding, even bigger than Bella and Edwards.

"Where do you want them, boss?" yelled Emmett. They were carrying parts of a tree for the aisles.

"On either side of the aisle.," replied Alice as she kept on trying to help Bella.

"What aisle?" replied Rosalie, who was also carrying wood. I knew that Alice was about to snap at them.

"Does no one have a vision?" Alice spoke to herself. Alice, very reluctantly, decided to show them where to place everything, while I decided to give Bella a little pep talk.

"What are you afraid of Bella?" I spoke up, and Bella jumped a bit from my voice.

"I'm not afraid of anything," replied Bella. Both of us knew that she was afraid of something that was related to the wedding. I didn't want to fight before her big day, but I didn't want to let it go either. That was when Alice came in and told Bella,

"You go home and get lots of rest. That's an order," spoke up Alice, saving Bella from our conversation. Though, I wasn't going to let this go so easily.

"Okay," replied Bella, as she went back home. There was a lot to be done, and I didn't know how I could contribute.

Suddenly I felt arms around my waist, and I knew exactly who that was. He just tightened his arms around me, as I was rubbing his arms with my hands.

"Hey, shouldn't you be, you know, helping with decorating?" I questioned Carlisle. He just hummed to himself, and kept his arms around my waist, me leaning back into his chest.

"I should be, but I saw my mate who was in need of my company. I decided that it was time for a little break, plus, Alice doesn't have to know about this," Carlisle replied. I knew he was trying to make me laugh, and he did just that. I giggled to myself, and that emitted a blinding smile. Both of us started laughing together, and that caused the rest of the family to look towards us.

Third POV

Everyone could see the love that both Carlisle and Lily had for each other. It was clear as day, and that made all of Carlisle's kids happy. Seeing their father smiling and laughing genuinely, and experiencing love as a vampire. They all loved Lily, and tomorrow they were going to ask if they could call her mom.
