Lily's POV

"What did Alice say about beauty sleep?" I yelled out to Bella as she sat down in front of the mirror.

"Sorry, bad dream. It was the wedding jitters," replied Bella.

"Bella, are you okay? Do you want me to cancel the wedding?" I spoke up. I didn't want Bella rushing into this if she wasn't ready for it.

"Do you need some help?" questioned Rosalie as she walked into the room.

"l could do her hair," she added on. I was so happy that Rosalie was at least trying to be kind to Bella, and trying to welcome her into their family.

"Really?" questioned Bella. I knew that she was shocked that Rosalie wanted to help, but we talked about this together, and Rosalie wants to turn over a new leaf.

"Please. I'm not offended by your choice of groom," responded Rosalie as she took my hands away from Bella's hair and she started doing it. I decided to go outside and Bella's bouquet and I heard,

"Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality," spoke Bella.

"Essentially," responded Rosalie, and that was when I walked back in.

"Weddings. They bring everyone together," spoke up Alice, as she brought us all into a hug.

I decided to go and change into my dress for the wedding. It was a lace purple dress because Alice and Rosalie were also wearing purple so I decided to match the theme. I just hope that Carlisle likes it, also I hope I'm not outshining the bride because if I am I can change my dress as soon as someone tells me that I should.

"Hello, love," spoke Carlisle. He looked absolutely amazing in the suit that he was wearing, also he looked hot. I don't think that is just my opinion, I could see some of my family looking at him from afar.

"Hey sweetheart, do you think that I look okay?" I asked as I decided to a little twirl to show to Carlisle how the dress looks. He looked at me as if he was entranced, and I blushed at that moment. Carlisle chuckled and responded,

"You look perfect my love," he responded. He gave me a boost of self-confidence and we decided to meet the Cullen's cousins. Carlisle and I walked over to four women and one man. Three of them looked as if they were actually related.

"Tanya, Carmen, Kate, Eleazar, and Irina, I would like you all to meet my mate, Lily," spoke up Carlisle. They were all very sweet as we all talked, but suddenly Carlisle started growling to himself. I thought that there was a danger, but I looked into his eyes, and I saw jealousy. When I looked back, the rest of the Cullens were also growling quietly to themselves with protectiveness.

"Carlisle, what is it?" I asked Carlisle. He responded,

"Love, does the name Mike ring a bell?" questioned Carlisle. I knew exactly who he was talking about the moment that he asked me about him. Mike Newton, total man-whore, but also someone who has seen me as a challenge. He always tries to get me to sleep with him, and I always say no.

By thinking that, the hatred in Edwards' eyes grew, and he whispered to the rest of the Cullen to what I was thinking.

"Carlisle, it's okay, he can stare all he wants, but I am yours," I told him. Carlisle seemed to calm down a bit, but his alter ego was trying to come out. I knew that he wanted to talk about this after Bella and Edward went on their honeymoon.
