Third POV

Lily woke up the next morning to Carlisle staring at her with a fond smile on his face. There were no traces of unhappiness or sadness in Carlisle's eyes. He was happy, finally, that he could be with his love in every way after three days of hell.

"Hey," spoke Lily smiling at Carlisle. Lily decided to sit up, and there was a sliver of skin showing off her collarbone, hidden once again because of the blanket. It just made Carlisle think of what happened last night, him wanting to prove his love to her over and over again.

"Good morning, my love. Can't we stay here all day, doing what we were doing yesterday," spoke Carlisle with lust in his eyes.

"Carlisle, I love you, but today I want to know the story of the kids," replied Lily. Lily felt bad that she hadn't spent enough time with who she considers being her children. Immediately, Lily's mood fell, and Carlisle could tell why.

"Stop thinking that right now. You are an amazing mother, no matter what thought you have that you aren't a good mother. You are showing that you weren't a pushover when you were ignoring us, and it just made us love you more. Sure it was hell, but we now know more about you. Just please, don't feel bad about the fact that you don't know the pasts of our children, they were scared that you would see them as monsters," spoke up Carlisle.

Lily got out of bed, and she got ready for the day. Once she had opened the door to Carlisle's room, the kids were all standing there. Behind me, Carlisle was shirtless. Emmett immediately groaned and covered his eyes,

"It burns, oh it burns! I need to clean my eyes with bleach," spoke Emmett in a joking voice. Carlisle rolled his eyes and put on a shirt, everyone coming outside to the living room. Carlisle and Lily sitting together on a love seat. The kids sitting on the couch.

"Mom, we heard that you want to know our stories, come to think of it, you don't even know Carlisle's story. We all want to tell you, we are at a good place to finally tell you," spoke up Jasper. Lily was comforted by the fact that they were comfortable with sharing their stories with her.

"I was the son of an Anglican pastor. I was born sometime in 1640 in London, during a time of religious and political upheaval. My mother died giving birth to him. My father and other pastors led hunts for werewolves, witches, and vampires, claiming that they were attempting to rid the world of evil and sin. Many a time, however, these groups would end up killing innocent citizens. As my father aged, I started to take over the raids. I was less at ease about killing as my father was, but I was intelligent enough to find a real coven of vampires inhabiting the sewers of London. I led the hunt after them, I was attacked and left bleeding in the street by a vampire.  I was horrified by what he had become and tried various ways of killing myself, including starvation, drowning, and jumping off cliffs. Eventually, I was so desperate for blood that while I was hiding in a cave in a forest I attacked and fed on a herd of passing deer. I found that he could survive off animal blood and I considered this much more humane than drinking the blood of a human," spoke Carlisle. Next was Jasper,

"After becoming a major in the Confederate Army, I was set upon by the vampire Maria, who proceeded to turn him. After the transformation, I helped Maria in her creation of a newborn vampire army, which successfully conquered the feeding grounds of Texas. However, over the next decades, I just became tired of this violent and bloodstained life, because I could feel the emotions of those I killed, which eventually became too much for him. In the 1940s, I left my bloodthirsty coven to become a nomad. In 1948, I met Alice, the love of his life, and with her joined the peaceful Cullen family—a coven of vegetarian vampires. By living a vegetarian, I was freed from the emotions that so depressed him," finished Jasper. He had a look on his face that showed pure disappointment in himself, and Lily reached out, comforting him form the horrors of his past. Jasper looked towards Alice, and she began her story.

"I was born into a middle-class home in Biloxi, Mississippi, in 1901. My father was a jeweler and a pearl trader. My mother tended to their home because my father traveled often. I was prone to having premonitions of the future since she was a child, though they weren't always correct. Though she rarely spoke of her power, people in town talked a lot during my adolescent years. I can't remember anything after that, and I am okay with it," finished Alice.

"I was born in 1915 and grew up in the small town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, as part of a large Scotch-Irish family. I was a wild child, never one to worry about consequences and preferring to gamble, drink, and womanizer. I was changed into a vampire by Carlisle in 1935, two years after Rosalie had been changed. When Rosalie came to me, I was being mauled by a black bear in the mountains of Tennessee. I had nearly died from the attack, but Rosalie saved me and carried me over a hundred miles back to Carlisle. Rosalie told that she brought me to Carlisle so that he, with his stronger endurance to human blood, could save me, being afraid that she would kill me instead," finished Emmet. Finally, it was the story of Rosalie,

"One day, my mother had me dress up to deliver my father's forgotten lunch to his job, in the hopes that the son of the bank's owner would take notice of me, and it worked. His name was Royce King II, and he sent roses to me and, after making a comment that her eyes were like violets, I began receiving them, too. Our relationship was solely based on physical attraction, as Royce was often too busy at the bank. We became engaged and one week before the wedding, I visited my good friend, Vera, who I envied for me. At one point, when Vera's husband kissed her, I finally noticed the lack of love in my relationship with Royce that was so obvious in Vera's. While walking home, shaken by my thoughts about my loveless relationship, I stumbled across my drunken fiancé and his equally drunk friends; Royce bragged about his fiancée's beauty which eventually led to me being brutally gang-raped and beaten before being left in the street to die. Carlisle found me and changed me, he thought that I was Edward's mate, I wasn't. In the end, I killed Royce and his friends, with my own dramatic flair," spoke Rosalie. Lily knew that if Rosalie could, she would be crying about being left to die, and being gang-raped. Lily brought Rosalie close to her, and Rosalie just started dry sobbing, hating the life that she had when she was a human. Bella had already told Lily about Edwards' past, so there was no need for him to tell his story. Edward knew that.

"I love you all so much," spoke Lily. With that everyone came together, for a family hug, enjoying the feeling of each other.
