The wind blew so calming. I was in a mystical forest with beautiful flowers all around me. Then a slow fog moved in around my surroundings and three dark figures appeared next to me. A rush of panic, i couldn't breath.

"Whats happening!" i shouted.

I ran my tongue across my teeth. Then in a faint whisper, i heard a soft low voice calling my name, it got closer and closer. I jumped then i felt something soft underneath my feet, and in between my toes, i looked down to see purple and blue sheets. Then I looked up to see my roommate Brenda standing next to my bed.

"God i couldn't get any sleep you were yapping all night" she scorned "Sorry" i whispered, there was no way i was going to give her another reason to make fun of me. I shouldn't even be having nightmares, but it wasn't the first time i had that nightmare.

"Whatever get out of bed you lazy bum or did you forget we have school" she stuck up her nose and walked over to her closet.

Yep that was Brenda the worst person you could have as a roommate at a private school.

Only though i had only been at moonlight for a couple of weeks i was starting to suspect something bad was gonna happen and not just because I've been having nightmares since i got here, but something else nipped at my nose. I chose not to tell anyone about my suspicion. Even though most kids were nice, most of the kids were nice i thought flashing a look at Brenda who didn't even bother to look back. I didn't have very many friends i kind of counted my self as an "outcast" my red hair stood out and all i wanted to do was fit in, but there was one boy i had my eye on, his sandy brown hair, broad shoulders and that blank expression on his face, i thought that i wouldn't even have a chance because lets face it, he would never fall for a girl like me. I had him for my language arts class in the morning so i wanted to look good.

"Ugh your gonna go out in public like that" snickered Brenda.

"Shut up, i think i look just fine, I'm not into that dressy stuff" i explained.

"Suit yourself" she said with a spin of her hair.

I put on a red shirt, some jeans, and a pair of black sneakers. When we left the dorm room to the girls hallway.

"We are going to the library today class" announced are teacher Mr. Yuko.

We all lined up and headed to the library. When i sat down i was surprised who sat next to me, but him the boy, in the hallway that i would always see but never had the courage to talk to.

"Hello, I'm Travis Roberts" he introduced.

"S-Stephine Olivia" i stuttered. I could feel by breath leave my body out of everybody in our class he sat next to me he wanted to know me. My heart raced but i had to keep my cool.

"Nice to meet you" he said and stuck out his hand.

I shook it calmly, it was sweaty and yet calm.

he looked at me as if he was trying to read my emotions, but my expression was blank, i tried to cover up the fact that i was excited.

"Would you..." he began "come to lunch with me" he said quietly so i almost couldn't hear.

"Sure" i said not sure it was me speaking.

"Great" he said and got up and walked away.

I sunk back in my seat, 'wow' i thought to myself. My whole body felt numb.

The rest of the day went as smooth as it could possibly be, until lunch came along. I held my lunch box in my hand, i hated the school lunch. I couldn't find Travis anywhere. I ran into some kids in the hall, one flashed me a look.

"Freak" one yelled over her shoulder and half the hallway snickered.
