She jumped up onto the bed, keeping up the act that she was his little girl again, "Can I sleep now daddy?"
"Yes, and if I see you're missing in the morning then you will pay for it," he shut the door and turned off the lights.
She looked around 1, 2, 3 doors, anyone of them could lead to the outside world, she wanted to escape but she had a feeling that he had put a camera in the room so he could see if he could actually trust her. After hours of not she finally felt her eyes close and slowly drifted off to sleep.
In the morning when the group awoke all the fun from the last night had died, and they knew for a fact that they needed to get out of the bunker, Zoey kept going over their plan in her head, she couldn't help but stress what was to come.
"Are you ready to do this?" she asked the group, who in her opinion looked tired, "Maybe it's just the worry," she thought glancing at the door.
"I think so," they replied
"Whose opening it?" Ethan asked looking at his friends.
Silence had creeped up on them once more.
"I will," Zoey said, more confident then she felt.
"On three,"
"One,"
"Two,"
"Three!" Zoey flung the door open no gunshots wrug around the bunker, which surprised her the most.
They left the bunker, heads low to the ground, but when they thought it was safe slowly lifted their heads of the ground revealing the same world that they had lived i for days, not being able to see the daylight. They stood up and looked at the sky, it seemed nice to feel the sun's glare after not feeling it for s long.
They went searching for Emily, they split up into groups, Steph wanted to go on her own for some reason and they let her, maybe because they didn't care for her or something else, they never really figured it out themselves.
But Steph was set on finding her grandma, she had been through 3 of these before and knew how to stop it, she needed to find out. She searched everywhere that she could walk to and much to her surprise she didn't see many faceless at all, they all waited at the edge of the forest almost looking straight into her soul. At last when she couldn't find her grandma she returned to a little old broken down park, they had said they would meet up their when they were done looking, or when they found something out. Step was the first one there so she got a lot of time to think.
Steph went and sat on a teeter totter, it was covered in rust. That's when the fit started, blood and blood and blood kept pouring out of her, cuts were made by invisible knives and by the time the rest of the group got their it was over, the only thing left of it was the blood.
What didn't make sense to Steph was how did she get one of the fits if she wasn't touching any blood, she looked around the teeter totter and saw no speck of blood anywhere, then it occurred to her, what if it was poison. Anyone could have came into the bunker injected them with some sort of poison or blood and left, it would have been that simple.
To Zoey, Steph had looked rather pale, so she decide to ask her what was going on, she didn't expect for her to say anything because it could have been the sudden change of light from lamp to sun, but that wasn't the case. Steph told Zoey everything that had happened and what she thought about the park. Zoey thought about it but couldn't come up with a logical explanation to explain how she had a fit when no blood was present, she also took Steph's theory into consideration, she wanted to remind her self to ask the group if they woke up with strange marks lately.
"Hey, Ethan did you draw any new pictures?" Zoey asked trying to lighten the mood.
"Yeah,I got one of the faceless creatures standing in a line by the forest edge, but if you look here it looks like I drew a old lady with them, the thing is I only draw what I see and that's really strange," he said pointing towards one of the pictures he drew
"Maybe it's trying to tell you something," Steph said who had turned a ghostly white.
When Emily woke up the room was quite dark and she noticed that her father was standing by the bed, just watching her.
When he noticed she was awake he gave her a warm smile and said "morning, how was your sleep?"
"Ok," Emily said wiping her eyes, still really tired she looked up and was taken aback, it was her father! She may have forgotten that she had got kidnapped.
