Hey peoples, in this tutorial I will be showing you how to get an almost metal text effect.
•
You will need: Phonto
1. Open up a background, I used a png border so I could save the text as a png later.
Type out whatever you want and choose a font.
2. Click the text and go to style. Then choose create colour pattern.
3. Start creating the metal effect using one of the images below to guide you on how to arrange your colours. Remember to choose vertical and click apply when you are done.Basically you're creating a gradient, dark fading into light and then back to dark, or vice versa.
4. Choose stroke in a one of the colours of your gradient. The width should be about between 1-3 or whatever you think looks good.
Click done, and that's it! Remember to save it as a png if you chose to use a png border.•
I cropped out the border in PicsArt.
