Kevin had reached his office when his cell rang. He picked it up, not bothering to check who it was. "Kevin speaking,"

"I hear your top notch casino had a scandal go down," The voice on the other end belonged to Sieg. "the tabloids are having a field day with it!"

Kevin frowned. "I thought I got it under wraps because of the building's upcoming anniversary..."

Sieg's snickering floated through the receiver. "Did you meet anyone interesting?"

"Interesting? Like there are–" Kevin started only to stop when a certain woman crossed his mind.

Sieg took that as a confirmation. "So you've met her too,"

"What are you talking about," Kevin furrowed his brows. "do you know something?"

"No need to get yourself in a bunch, we hardly know of her either," Sieg huffed, clearly enjoying the conversation. "and by 'we', I mean Hayden, Oliver and I,"

Sieg continued. "Remember the scandal on that socialite?"

Kevin then remembered the camera dangling around her neck. "You mean she's part of the paparazzi?!"

"Clearly," Sieg agreed. "she's one of a kind, don't you think?"

Kevin only groaned, earning a chuckle from Sieg. "With an attitude like hers, I agree."

"You've spoken with her?" Sieg sounded intrigued.

"It was short," Kevin responded curtly.

"What did she say?" Kevin swore he could see Sieg smirking.

"She complained about the security of the casino," He answered with a shrug. "and ratted the underhand dealings that happened in it."

"How chivalric," Sieg laughed.

"What's gotten you so interested about an ordinary woman?" Kevin questioned, knowing full well that she seemed far from ordinary.

Sieg's laughter carried through. "A woman who can jump onto a moving vehicle is far from ordinary!"

Kevin was stumped. "What?!"

"Exactly!" Sieg answered with gusto.

They continued bantering about the enigma of the paparazzo until they hung up. Kevin ran a hand through his hair, leaning back into his seat. His thoughts on the conversation that he had with Sieg and the woman he met at the casino. "What the hell?"

He reached over and pressed the intercom. "Luke, bring me the latest tabloid with the casino scandal in it, ASAP."

No later than ten minutes Luke entered the office with the tabloid in hand. "Here you are, your Highness,"

Kevin took paper from him with a word of thanks and flipped through it until he reached the page that detailed the casino. He scanned the pictures immediately recognizing the interior of the room taken, a group of men surrounding a table that held an open case revealing numerous white packages similar to the one he was given. The photograph was clear with no hint of blurring over faces of the people. Then he looked at the portrait of a roguish looking man; flabby skin, dark eye bags, a menacing-looking scar on the right half of his face. It was a complete match, unmistakable with the clear photograph. The headlines coloured the page: Upstanding Card Dealer Pierro Caught Red-Handed Dealing with Cocaine?!

Kevin blinked, skimming through the article. It detailed how a large amount of cocaine had been confiscated and the arrest of Pierro. His trial would be scheduled later this month or the next depending on the amount of evidence found in his residence. Kevin frowned when it detailed of the police investigation on the remaining men involved in the circle.

He stared and he stared, trying to organize his thoughts. He had given the small packet of cocaine to the Police Force of Liberty immediately after he had ascertained that it was cocaine, that was three days ago...

He brought down his fist with a crack, frustration clawing at him when he realized. "I just played right into her hands!"

Boisterous laughter filled the room as Boss doubled over. "You played a Prince right under his nose!?"

I gave a shrug. "It's better than me headin' towards the dogs with accused tomfoolery... 'sides, no one's gonna question Royalty,"

"You have that right," Boss lit up another smoke and began puffing it. "ain't you a sly one,"

I continued to clean my viewfinder not bothering to retort to that. Boss turned to walk off. "We don't have another one 'til next week, take it as a paid leave,"

I rolled my eyes. "Couldn't ya been more honest and say ya have a date?"

"It's 'cause it ain't a date!" I let out a grin at his flustered yell.
