It was the day of the ball and I stood by the drinks, taking a sip of of the red wine. The taste was classy, not really my preference though...

The dress that I was forced into was a nice simple one, with complimenting heels. Not that I cared for it either. The only thing of value on me would probably be the diamond-like necklace that settled itself around my neck. The hidden viewfinder was set to automatically take pictures every five minutes or so, sending the data electronically to a receiver back at the base.

In simpler terms, this necklace of mine was worth more than an authentic diamond necklace.

My eyes roamed the ballroom, trying to search for my current target... didn't look like he was here. I took another sip to hide my impatience.

Instead I let my eyes wander at the decor. All sorts of rich colours were placed expertly so that not one would stick out like a sore thumb, it was easy on the eyes too.

What was the theme for a party this grand anyway? I spied the Royal couple at the head of the room, surrounded by a flock of attention seekers. Yet the rat still wasn't there...

"He couldn't have gotten a tip about me bein' here... could he?" I muttered under my breathas I continued to sip at my wine.

Oliver met up with rest of the Princes' when he finally finished his rounds of greeting those who came and wishing his parents another happy anniversary, he was already feeling the fatigue. "Maan, it's always exhausting no matter how many rounds I make,"

"Sounds just like you," Sieg gave a snort.

"I'm with Oliver with this one," Kevin interjected, the exhaustion on his face caused him to look far more paler than usual. "I had to attend one at the beginning of the week and I feel like my head is going to explode with all the names I have to remember,"

"You don't see Kevin whining everyday," Kuon muttered with a raised brow.

"I wasn't whining!" Kevin snapped.

Max cut in before things escalated. "Now, now, gentlemen, no point in turning this into a scuffle,"

Oliver grinned. "We should all get together for a vacation sometime! To blow off some steam!"

"You sure you're not saying that so you could escape from work?" Hayden smiled knowingly, causing laughter to run through the group.

Oliver's attention was soon taken by a flurry of white in his peripheral, turning his head he caught sight of who it was. His eyes widening as he did so, with his mouth hanging open. "Woah! She's super hot!"

The other Princes' turned to see who their frivolous friend was speaking of, each one becoming shocked to a degree. Kevin was the first to mutter, his brows furrowed. "I don't recognize her to be of anyone important,"

"She is a beauty," Sieg agrees. "the dress compliments her figure."

Kuon didn't say anything as he kept staring, earning playful jab from Max. "Cat got your tongue, Prince Kuon? You've been silently staring at her for a while now,"

The other Princes' snickered at Kuon, causing him to become flustered. "T-That's not it!"

"Sure it isn't," Sieg smirked.

Kuon flailed but he managed to bring forth his intention, diverting the jabs. "It's true! She looked familiar, that's all!"

"Familiar?" Hayden turned a critical eye towards the elegant woman in white. The hair looked to be a familiar chestnut colour, though her eyes were too far for him to tell the colour. "Her hair is certainly familiar to hers, don't you think so?"
