Patton was walking down the hall of the mind palace with his cat onesie around his shoulders, and he could hear the distinct sound of Virgil's music blasting through the halls. He would have thought it was just Virgil trying to block out the other sides if he hadn't seen Roman sitting on the ground, with his back against Virgil's door and Logan standing across from him leaning against the wall. Patton jogged up to them and knelt next to Roman.

"What happened?" He asked and Roman shook his head a little as he looked up at Patton.

"I honestly don't know. We were helping Thomas with something and this caused him to talk about things from his past and the struggles he had to go through, then Virgil kinda stiffened and disappeared to his room." Roman was holding a small box and sighed. "I'm really worried about him" Patton looked up at Logan who also sighed.

"It seems that Virgil is having a nostalgic induced panic attack,but he is having more trouble than usual drowning out the voices." Patton looked at the door and stood.

"Virgil!" He called as he started banging on the door, but Roman shook his head.

"He's not gonna hear you. We've both been trying that for half an hour." Roman looked down and sighed as he played with a purple cloud necklace he was wearing. "I should have noticed, I should have seen him loosing control but I didn't. How am I supposed to be his knight in shining armor when I can't even protect him from his biggest fear?" Roman mumbled before resting his forehead on his knees. Patton sat next to him and put an arm around him.

"It's gonna be okay. I'm sure Virgil will be able to calm down and come talk to us at some point. He's done it before." 

"But what if he doesn't? What if he never sees me again?" Roman was obviously worried and Virgil could see it on the screen that had the feed of the camera outside of his room. He wanted to open the door and tell Roman everything will be okay, he's not going anywhere, but the voices wouldn't shut up.

"He's lying"

"You don't belong here"

"They all hate you" 

"Worthless freak" 

"S-Stop" he whimpered to himself and realized the music wasn't working, and why it wasn't working. So he did the only thing that the voices couldn't stop, he used his phone. 

'help DIDS' Roman looked down at his phone and instantly stood up. There was a soft click from the door and Roman opened it before closing it behind him and locking it. And when Roman saw Virgil his heart broke. Virgil was curled up on his bed with his hood up and his hands over his ears as tears slid down his face, dragging his black eyeliner with them as he rocked back and forth slowly. Roman turned off the loud music and walked over ti him, kneeling in front of him. Virgil looked up at him and Roman could see the fear in his eyes.

"I can't get them, to stop." He whispered "They won't leave me alone" Roman held Virgil's face in his hands and looked at him while wiping his tears away.

"I know my precious storm cloud. I know they are big and scary voices, but you know what keeps the voices away?" Virgil looked at him tilting his head to the side and he shook his head =. "The best way to get the wicked voices to go away is cuddles and soft Disney music" Roman said as he pulled Virgil into his arms and held him close.

"B-But what if the others hear it? I can't....they can't know." Roman snapped his fingers and made the door soundproof.

"Now they won't hear it." Virgil nuzzled close to him and nodded as Roman had Hanuka Matata  playing through the speakers, and Virgil laughed a little with a few tears still sliding down his face. Roman smiled and started singing to him as he pet his head. Virgil listened to Roman singing and he closed his eyes as the now angry voices slowly started to disappear. Roman smiled when he felt Virgil relax in his arms, and was pleasantly surprised when he started to sing along as well.

"You know this song?" Virgil lifted his head and smiled as he blushed a little.

"yeah, I know a lot of Disney songs surprisingly" 

"You have no idea how happy that makes me" Roman said as he smiled happily and Virgil smiled softly.

"Oh I can imagine" Roman smiled and rested his forehead against Virgil's. 

"Who's your favorite character?" Virgil looked down and instantly got a little nervous.

"I don't think you'll like it..." 

"Who is it? This is very important information, even if it's a Disney villain" Virgil sighed and bit his lip as he kept looking down, but Roman grabbed his chin and lifted his head as he looked at him with soft eyes. "Don't be anxious baby."

"My favorite Disney character is......Maleficent" Roman gasped and Virgil was waiting for the lecture about how you can't trust dragon witches but when he looked up again Roman was smiling.

"She is so perfect for you!" Roman beamed and Virgil blushed with another small smile. "She wears purple and black, is misunderstood, powerful and overall fabulous!" Virgil only blushed harder as he looked at Roman, who then reached out and caressed his cheek.

"You really think so?" 

"Absolutely! Actually on the topic of Maleficent...." He pulled out the small box he had and held it out to Virgil who took it confused. When he opened it his eyes lit up in awe and surprise when he saw the Maleficent charm hanging from a chain. He quickly put it around his neck.

"Roman...this is beautiful....thank you"

"Of course storm cloud. I thought it might help you when you have other attacks so that you can calm yourself when I can't be there." 

"I don't know what I would do without you"

"Probably be a sad negative emotion struggling under Logans knowledge and Patton's excessive love." Roman said laughing softly. Then Patton knocked on the door. 

"Are you guys coming to play with us or not?!" Roman turned off the music and smiled as he looked at Virgil

"Ready to kick their ass?" Roman asked and Virgil nodded as he hopped up and Roman away his last few tears. Then Roman grabbed his hand and they walked toward the door but Roman stopped him and grabbed Virgil's eyeliner. "One second" He said before fixing Virgil's eyeliner and smiled "There, much better" Virgil smiled and kissed him softly 

"Thanks Princey" 

Of course Storm Cloud. Now lets go dominate at Mario Kart" He said smiling as they walked out of Virgil's room to a smiling Patton and a relaxed Logan. They went and played Mario Kart as Virgil was leaning against Roman and Patton was curled into Logan.
