Logan was on the couch reading a book, his usual routine on a Saturday afternoon when the others went out on one of Roman's adventures, though today had taken them forever due to Virgil pushing against going so hard. He wished they would have let him just stay, he knew Virgil hated going out with them, but Patton always found a way to drag him out there. He sighed as he thought of Virgil, and realized he could no longer focus on his book. He was too focused on Virgil's big worried brown eyes, the way the eye shadow actually looked cute on him, how he hid behind his hair when he was upset or blushing, and the blissful moments when he did give them a smile or a laugh. Logan hadn't realized he had noticed these things before, but now that he did he realized his fear had come true, he had feelings. He had to hide them, or get rid of them, or do something. The others couldn't know he felt things, if they did they would never let it go and then he would forever have a weak spot, and he couldn't give them that. He thought as he tried to find a way to hide his feelings when he remembered that Virgil had mentioned something about writing his feelings down. Logan flicked his wrist and conjured up a notebook as he started to write down everything he felt about Virgil, everything he noticed, every feeling he had, every thought that formed in his mind. He wrote for a good twenty minutes before the front door was flung open and there were worried shouts as a blur of purple and black shot up the stairs and Logan quickly made the notebook disappear. He sat up confused as Patton came rushing in and he looked over at Logan with worried eyes.

"Patton what happened?"

"We had gone out to a lake and Virgil didn't want to get in, and he didn't tell us why. I didn't push it because I know how sensitive he can get sometimes, but I noticed he kept his arms across his chest and one leg crossed over the other like he was hiding something" Patton said all in one breath and sighed. "So Roman tried to get him to swim with us and he wouldn't, then Roman scared him and caused him to fall in and then he freaked out when his hood fell off and ran back here as fast as he could." Patton looked down and Logan put his hand on his shoulder.

"Do not fret Patton, I am sure his anxiety just kicked in. I will go talk to him to make sure he is okay." Patton nodded and sighed before running over to Roman and hugged him tightly. Roman sighed and hugged him back as he looked over at Logan and nodded. Logan headed upstairs to Virgils room and heard him sobbing. He sighed and rested his head on the door. "I know you're not okay, let me in so we can talk." Virgil's sobbed got extremely quiet after that and Logan could tell he was trying to hide his sobs and failing. "If you don't let me in I'm going to open the myself and make sure you're okay." There was a soft squeak and the sound of footsteps and the door opened a crack to reveal a messy haired red eyed shaking Virgil.

"See?" He said giving a weak smile. "I'm fine." Logan looked over him slowly and gently pushed the door open and walked toward Virgil, knowing he was jumpy.

"V you're not fine. Let me help you." Virgil stood there like a deer in headlights but he didn't  move so Logan hugged him tightly. Virgil hugged him back and gave in, braking down in his arms with a sob. Logan sighed and rubbed his back as he picked Virgil up and carried him to his bed, sitting down with him in his lap and held him close. "Virg....what happened?"

"I....Can't.....you'd hate.....can't lose.....can't tell" Virgil said between sniffs as tears flew down his cheeks. Logan looked at him with soft eyes and wiped some of his tears away.

"Virgil, I'm not gonna hate you, and I'm not going anywhere I promise." He said softly as he pet his head, but kept Virgil's hood up as he looked at him. "So what's wrong?" Virgil wouldn't look at him and it was clear he was fighting with himself while Virgil held him. And he seemed to come to a compromise as he reached up and took his hood down, revealing the small purple ears that were sticking out of his hair and bending toward his head. Logan looked at the ears and Virgil ducked his head as he felt stupid for opening up to Logan about this small piece of himself he was hiding. If Logan couldn't accept this, he wouldn't be able to accept Virgil's deeper secret. Logan reached up and gently pet his head as he smiled looking at his ears. "These are adorable Virgil. Your a little gatito (kitten) and I love it" Virgil looked up at him surprised and blushed hard.
