"Listen, Virgil, I get that you always get worried about boys and relationships and everything, but that's my job not yours. Thomas will be just fine under my care."

"Okay that's great, doesn't mean I won't worry for his emotional state, because if something goes wrong, I have to work overtime and don't get any sleep. So I'm going to over analyse all of your decisions until Thomas really feels confidant."

"Why do you always be such a drag!! Every time I try to make Thomas happy you come in with your freaking dark side negativity!" Virgil looked at him surprised and clearly hurt and Patton gasped.

"Roman I'm surprised at you!"

"Well am I wrong? He always does this every time." Virgil pulled his hood up and sank out without anyone noticing, except Thomas.

"Guys..."

"Why must you always pick on him?! He does nothing but look out for us, and he has never pushed you to not do something, he just points out the flaws that make you nervous!"

"Guys" Thomas said a little louder.

"He does too. Anytime I have a good idea he always says its a bad one!"

"Guys!" Thomas shouted and they turned and looked at Thomas. "He left like five minutes ago" Patton looked at the spot and his eyes widened and he quickly sank out to Virgil's room.

"Babe?" Patton said softly as he knocked on the door "Can I come in?" There was a soft hum saying he could, so Patton walked in. Virgil was curled up on the ground, he hadn't even made it to the bed, wrapped up in his hoodie and a blanket as he laid on the floor in tears. Patton rushed to his side and pulled him into his arms as he held him close. "Oh kiddo" He said softly. "He's wrong, all of us know he's wrong" Virgil just let out a soft whimper, and Patton knew what that meant. "Do you need dad time baby boy?" Patton asked and Virgil looked up at him with bright eyes. "That would be a yes." Patton said smiling as he stood up with Virgil in his arms and set him on the bed so he could put him in fuzzy pjs. He grabbed Virgil's storm pants with a hoodie and walked back over to him and changed him before sitting on the beanbag chair with Virgil in his arms all wrapped up in the blanket. Virgil sighed happily as he snuggled into Patton who pulled the bat stuffie off of his bed and handed it to Virgil who closed his eyes and nuzzled into the crook of his neck.

"S-Story Dada?" Virgil asked in a small voice and Patton smiled.

"Of course baby, what story would you like today?"

"One of the Grimm brother stories." Patton laughed softly and nodded.

"I should of known" He said as he made the Grimm brothers book appear and opened the index before choosing one of the stories and started ti read to Virgil who smiled. He would never admit it to the other two sides, but he actually liked the Grimm stories, he thought the twisted ideas behind them were interesting. Virgil smiled as he held his bat and stayed close to Patton as he smiled and sighed happily. Logan was in the hall listening and he smiled softly. None of them had known Patton and Virgil were dating, and the fact that Patton helped him calm down by taking care of him like he was a small child was even cuter. Virgil looked up at Patton and smiled before saying in his child voice.

"Are you just gonna lurk outside the door or are you gonna come in?" Logan laughed softly and walked in as he smiled and and saw the two of them curled up on the beanbag.

"How are you feeling Virgil?" He asked softly as he knelt to their level.

"Better, thanks to him" He responded as he looked up at Patton who smiled and ran his fingers through Virgil's hair who giggled at the touch.

"Good, Roman was wrong when he said what he did, hes just a stupid boy." Virgil smiled at that and cuddled into Patton and sighed happily.

"Well he was mean anyway. I want him to feel guilty"

"Well I'm sure he does little kitten, but you can't just be mean back to someone who hurt you, that just won't solve anything."

"It won't? Why not?" Virgil asked confused as Patton gently pet his head.

"Because, then the person will be mean right back. You just have to understand that they have to earn your trust back, but you can still be kind and help them even though they made you upset."

"But won't that lead to me always getting hurt?" He asked with big eyes. "Because Roman always picks on me, no matter what."

"Well if it continues to happen then I will have a little chat with Roman, but being mean back never solves anything."

"Okay Dada, I won't be mean to Roman." Virgil said as he nuzzled close to Patton and sighed as he closed his eyes. Patton smiled as he watched him and gently pet his head while Logan stood up. As he leaned against the doorframe he could feel Roman coming down the hall and he sighed as he turned around and he could see Roman coming down the hall with a worried expression. Logan stepped out of the room and closed the door as he looked over at Roman.

"Is he alright? I know I was a huge ass earlier and I just wanna make sure he's okay."

"He's fine, no thanks to you. You really need to be careful what you say around him, you know how hard it's been since he crossed over. I don't even think he's told Patton yet and you basically almost told him." Roman looked at him shocked.

"He hasn't told Patton yet?"

"No. He's afraid of how he'll react. You're lucky Patton didn't pick up on it, otherwise you would be in a whole different world of trouble." Roman looked down at the ground ashamed. He hadn't realized he had almost outed Virgil, he knew how being outed about your sexuality felt, he couldn't imagine what being outed about something like that felt like.

"Can I talk to him, alone?"

"I'll ask Patton, stay right here." Roman nodded and did as he was told as Logan walked inside the room and closed the door behind him. A few seconds later Logan and Patton were walking out of the room and gave a grateful smile before walking inside.

"What do you want?" Virgil asked not looking at him. Roman sighed and sat down across from him.

"I just wanted to say I'm say I'm sorry. The comments I made were messed up to being with, on top of the fact that I almost outed you to Patton like that...it wasn't fair of me." Virgil sighed and looked over at Roman.

"I mean thankfully you didn't so I'm not so mad about that....I just, I din't get why you hate me so much. Is it because of that?"

"No! Oh my goodness I could never hate you, especially not because of that. That would be a little hypocritical don't you think? I just feel like I can never meet your standards. Everyone else does thinks that you feel safe with, but my ideas are always too reckless somehow."

"They aren't reckless. They're usually really good ideas, I just get nervous. I don't want to watch Thomas get hurt because then I feel like it would be my fault for not being extra cautious. If I point out the things that could go wrong, then Thomas will have lower expectations so he's less likely to get hurt."

"And then if things go better, he would feel better" Roman suddenly realized as he looked down. "God I'm such an idiot, I am truly sorry Virgil." Virgil smiled for a second.

"Well, you're forgiven, just try not to freak out on me again okay?"

"Deal. How about we finally play that video game Thomas just got."

"I love that idea" Virgil said as he got up and they went out to the other two. Patton wrapped an arm around Virgil and the four of them went downstairs and they helped Thomas play the new video game he had bought, and all went back to normal, at least for the time being
