My mom's alarm clock woke me up early that morning. I was glad that I was able to get a little bit of rest, but I still felt like I didn't get any at all. When I woke up, I rolled over onto my back and rubbed my eyes. Bailey did the same and looked at me while holding herself up with her elbow.

"Good morning sleepyhead." She said, her hair stuck up in all directions. "You talk in your sleep you know."

I frowned. "I do?"

She nodded, smiling. "Yeah, you were saying stuff about how beautiful I was, how my hair smelled like strawberries..."

Donovan and Jamie began to laugh, and I began to blush hard. "I-I did!?"

She began to laugh as well, shaking her head. "I'm just messing with you."

I sighed in relief; then Bailey mumbled under her breath. "Maybe."

Once my mom got dressed and everyone showered, we all followed her lead as she got ready. There was one problem that came up as Bailey asked Jamie for some clothes.

"Uh oh," Jamie mumbled.

Bailey frowned, shuffling nervously. "W-What is it?"

"I don't see any extra clothes for you."

"Oh. That's okay I guess. Could I wear the same ones from last night?"

Jamie shrugged. "I suppose so."

She sighed and took the clothes to the bathroom and got changed. Once she was done, we were ready to go.

"Everyone ready?" My mom asked, looking at all of us expectantly.

We looked at each other, and I nodded. "Yeah, let's get to Pasadena."

————————

We went through a drive-thru at a McDonalds, so we could quickly get back on the road.

We also stayed off the interstate, since none of us liked the idea of getting back in that traffic, although it didn't look as bad as yesterday. My mom said that she didn't want to take any chances, and I agreed.

We kept north of the highway that would take us above Pasadena. I couldn't help but look around to see if we were being followed. I just felt like someone was behind us. Bailey grabbed my hand and held it with both of her hands in an attempt to calm me down. It worked a little, but not much.

"What are we going to do once we're there?" Donovan asked.

"We check out the headquarters and leave. Then we should make a plan to bust in and find out where my husband is and go from there," my mom said quickly.

"Sounds good. Do you know where it is?" He asked.

My mom sighed. "Yes, I know where it is."

I wanted to ask her how, but I kept my mouth shut. I figured it was best not to talk about it.

I wondered what we would expect once we got there. I thought back to seeing Michelle and the boy with Lin. Both of them seemed extremely dangerous and even lethal to be around.

I doubted Lin would do much except put all of his soldiers in front of him. His electric teens will probably be used as a last resort.

Now that I think about it, I tried to count who were the ten electric teens that I was aware of.

There was me, Donovan, Bailey, and Jamie here, so that's four. Michelle and the boy made six. So there was still four left that we haven't met.

I wasn't really sure if I wanted to or not.
