The sorting

The twins and Hanako spent a majority of their time on the train planing pranks for the school year before Percy interrupted them.
"Fred and George, go put on your robes, we have about 30 minutes before arrival." Percy said looking at the trio.
"Alright, let's go Forge."
"Fine Gred." The two said then stood up and left the compartment.
"Hello, I am Percy Weasley, and you are?" Percy asked Hanako.
"Hello Percy, I am Hanako. It is nice to meet you." Hanako replied kindly.
"So you are Japanese? Your name seems to be." Percy asked.
"Hai, I am. Now I should go and put on my robes." Hanako said excusing herself from talking to Percy.
She changed in the girl's restroom and then went back to the compartment to talk to Fred and George more.
They soon arrived at Hogwarts and were guided by a familiar half giant to boats to cross the lake. Hanako ended up in a boat with Fred and George. They were then guided by Professor Mcgnagall into the great hall after a short explanation of the rules. Fred and George made it to Gryffindor and since Hanako had no last name, she was last.
"Hanako." Mcgnagall stated proudly.
She walked up to the stool and sat down. The moment the hat touched her head, a voice rang threw her skull.
"Hello Miss Hanako. You are a strange one indeed. You could fit into Gryffindor or Slytherin just as easy. Which would you prefer?" The hat asked.
"I would like either. Both Professor Mcgnagall and Snape seem like good people." Hanako answered.
"Not making my job any easier are you?" The hat asked.
"I try to just fit in. What is your name?" Hanako asked.
"Well, no one ever asks me my name. It has long been forgotten by me. Why don't you give me one?" The hat asked.
"Sure. How about Kunai? You seem to have a sharp Witt just like the blade of a Kunai." Hanako asked.
"That could work. Kunai it is then. But back to you. After further inspection, you could also do well in Ravenclaw. But I still think either Slytherin or Gryffindor." The hat said once again.
"Well, just place me where you think I could excel." Hanako stated calmly.
"As cunning as a Slytherin, as wise as a Ravenclaw, at times as loyal as a Hufflepuff, certainly as brave as a Gryffindor. But to place her, better put her in Gryffindor!" The hat shouted out loud.
That statement from the hat got her curious looks from some of the professors but Gryffindor cheered at her arrival. She sat down in between Fred and George and started to talk to them.

"Time" Fred finished.
"Sorry for the wait, the hat and I had a long conversation on what house to put me in. His name is Kunai by the way." Hanako said making the twins laugh.
"Of course you would have a conversation with a hat." Fred said.
"Yeah, we have only known you for a few hours and yet it seems like we have know you all our lives." George said still laughing.
"Don't start laughing at me now or I might just go ask the hat to place me in Slytherin. We ended just playing a mental game of rick paper scissors to choose between Slytherin and Gryffindor for me." Hanako said pouting.
"Alright, we will stop now." George said.
"Yeah, don't want to drive our new pranking buddy away." Fred concludes.
"Good." Hanako said with a forgiving smile.
Then Dumbledoor said a small speech, explained the rules more in depth, then waved his hand and food appeared.
Everyone started eating but Hanako who wasn't used to non Japanese foods.
"What's wrong Hanako?" Fred asked.
"Why aren't you eating?" George followed.
"I don't know what any of this is." She stated in a form of shock.
"Why?" They both asked.
"She is Japanese you dunderheads. She doesn't eat British Food." Percy stated making the twins feel bad.
"Oh, well... try the potatoes and some turkey I guess..." George started while Fred was piling food on her plate.
"Then try these." Fred said finished with putting food on her plate.
She picked up her fork and tried a bit of everything and decided to just stick to the turkey and potatoes since they didn't bother her that much.
"Is the food that bad?" Fred asked since she didn't eat much.
"Not rice, fish, pork, or seaweed. But it is not bad, I didn't think I would have a cultural shock at a wizarding school." Hanako said shrugging.
Then, the dinner disappeared and dessert appeared. Before Fred or George could suggest and sweets, Hanako eyes sparkled and she had a really happy grin before loading her plate with cakes, cookies, candies, pies, and puddings. No one thought she could eat it all, but they were soon proven wrong and were left in shock. The ghost even floated still in a state of shock from seeing a short, tiny, thin girl eat her weight and more in desserts. Professor Mcgnagall came over to see what was wrong with everyone in her house only to find herself laughing slightly at the sight of everyone looking at her adoptive granddaughter.
"Why is everyone frozen?" Hanako asked.
"Your love for dessert has shocked them all. You might want to tone it down a bit." Mcgnagall suggested.
"I forgot to mention that I have a serious sweet tooth. It takes all of my will power not to eat all of my pocky supply." Hanako said.
Mcgnagall just smiled and then went around taping her house students on the shoulder to get everyone moving again. For the sake of her house, Hanako just ate an apple the rest of the feast. Then, they followed the prefects to the tower and Hanako had to say goodby to Fred and George and go to the girls dorms. Hanako got the corner of the room to herself. She took out her phone and started texting Asano.
H: Hi
A: How is school?
H: British food is weird. Dessert was good.
A: Make any friends?
H: I met twins, Fred and George. They are nice and smart as well.
A: Sounds like they are good people.
H: Yep, and I have already read all the books for my classes this year. When I get my schedule I am going to ask the Head of my House if I can take more difficult classes,
A: I am sure you will be able to ace them. But with you in E class now I have to lead The A class study groups this break.
H: I am still the President of the student body and I am in the 1 place school wide. I just get to lead from E Class.
A: I over heard my Father talking about E class getting a new teacher.
H: Intresting. Well GTG, it is lights out and I hear my Head Of House getting closer. Night!
Hanako then put her phone away and went to sleep.
