Apprentice

I was in potions when I suddenly got curious about something.
"Professor, how did you get to be a Potion's Master?" I asked while stirring my basic healing potion.
"Curious are you? Well, I apprenticed for about two years before I met the requirements for mastery when I was just out of Hogwarts. Why do you ask?" Snape responded almost instantly.
"It is just something that I might be interested in completing one day. What are the requirements for mastery?" I shot back at him.
"First, you must compete at least one year of apprenticeship, then you must take a test through the potions mastery group, and finally, you must develop at least one new potion. The last reason is why there are only 73 official potions masters in the world. Does that answer your questions?" Snape asked looking at me funny.
"Just one more Professor. How would one gain an apprenticeship with a potions master?" I asked since I honestly would like to become one as soon as possible.
"Complete a 7 foot essay on why the wolfsbane potion works and how, then I will give you that information." Snape said with a smirk. He probably thinks I will not try.
"Simple enough. When is it due?" I asked while bottling up my potion.
"Tomorrow by 6 am. Any later and I will withhold my information." Snape answers with a smirk. I should have kept my mouth closed.
"Alright Professor, I will have it to you by then. I finished my class work though, may I start my essay?" I asked handing him the bottle.
"No, just sit quietly and wait for the end of class." Snape said with a cold stare.
"Humph! Teacher's pet!" The twins stated with a glare at me.
What was a great friendship turned out to be a terrible mistake. After they pranked me, I retaliated by charming their clothing to be neon pink no matter what they did. After that, it escalated to a full on prank war but no one has been able to pin the blame on me. It is not very likely that we will all be friends again. Anyway, after potions I went to divination then transfiguration. After transfiguration I arrived two hours early to Kunugigaoka and went to the magical side and purchased a book on the wolfsbane potion and started writing my essay. When Korosensei came in the room, I switched my feather pen for a regular one. I got so into my work, that I didn't notice everyone else file into the room one by one.
"Hanako, if you will, please put away whatever you are working on and pay attention." Korosensei called out from the front of the room.
"Oh, I didn't realize class had already started. Please excuse me."
Yesterday we decided on naming him Korosensei. It comes from the Japanese word for unkillable. Yesterday was also the day that Karasuma sensei announced that he would be taking over PE and I am actually very happy about that. I can't seem to get cats cradle down while jumping but I can do it standing still. When he arrived, I was actually patrolling the halls and ran into him before he went to the principal's office. I waited for him outside the office while he and his associate talked to the principal. When they came out I asked, "So what was that about Karasuma San?"
"Well, I just got approved to be E class' new PE teacher. What are you doing on this campus anyway?" He asked.
"As the highest ranking officer of the student council, it is my job to patrol hallways just a few minutes before and after class changes. But, with the hike up and down the mountain I have to miss a portion of class. Korosensei doesn't really like it but since I keep acing all of his test and assignments he allows it. The hiking has really increased my endurance though. I go up and down it 7 times a day so 14 times if you count going down being 1 and up the 2." I answered walking beside him.
"Why is this school so divided?" Karasuma's associate asked.
"Can't you tell? It works this way do to worker any theory. You categorize 10% as undesirables and the rest will work harder to not fall into that category. It is very brutal but Kunugigoka has the highest academic scores overall in all of Japan. That is the reason I worked so hard to get in and why so many others stay here at all. They don't realize it but collages will look here first, even E class due to the fact we cover the first three years of collage in 2 years and all of high school in the first 2." I stated being brutally honest.
There was a brief silence before Karasuma had asked, "How old are you again?"
"As of last April I am 11. It is kind of depressing to know that is we don't succeed I will never turn twelve."
"I am sorry." Karasuma sensei said.
"Don't be. Oh hey, we made it up the mountain without getting attacked by snakes. That's a first." I said and then he just called the whole class weird.
It was a good day. Karma is supposed to get here today though so that should be fun. I need to let some anger out maybe we can do a prank. Anyway, I finished the essay on wolfsbane and it would be cool to get a mastery in potions. Potions are just so fun! The steady brewing process, the task of cutting the ingredients, the thrill of seeing the results! I think I am obsessed! I happen to be thinking about this as we are doing our knife basics in the yard. Two boys went up to Karasuma sensei and attacked him but failed. He then made me go up against him.
"Now Hanako here seems to be in tune with the basics so let's see if she can do any damage. I will let you roam around the rest of the school day if you can hit me." He said.
I dunked my rubber knife in red paint and approached him slowly.
"It's okay, I don't expect you to be able to land a hit, but just give it a try." He said with a small smile.
I kept my face calm and I loosened my grip on the knife a bit. I suddenly sprinted at him to throw him off a bit but before I made contact, I threw the knife at his center body mass and managed to get a line of red paint across his throat from when he tried to duck. Everyone was silent and shocked including Karasuma sensei and we stayed like that until a slow clap started. Everyone looked to the source and it turned out to be Karma!
"Karma nii Chan!" I yelled with joy then tried to tackle him with a hug. That didn't work, he is like 160 and I am like 70 pounds.
He ended up just catching my hug then moved me on top of his shoulders. "Nice job little angel, next time throw it with a bit more force and tilt the knife at and upward angle, it will do more damage that way" Karma suggested.
Suddenly jumping out of his shock, Korosensei came over and said, "Ah, you must be Akabane Karma. I know you have just gotten back from suspension, but it is 5th period. Please do not let this happen again."
Karma slipped me his knife before he held out his hand for him to shake.
"It won't happen again teach, I am just getting back into the swing of things." He stated.
"Of course, it will be my pleasure to have you in the classroom." Korosensei said taking his hand.
That moment is when I sprung into action and launched myself onto Korosensei's shoulders to decapitate him while Karma managed to take out a tentacle.
Sadly, a different tentacle put his head back on and another put me back on Karma's shoulders.
"Kukukuku good try. Full credit on creativity and extra points to Hanako for removing my head. But that won't be enough to kill me you two. Hanako, you are usually more docile, what is going on with you?" Korosensei asked.
His question made Karma laugh, "Hanako docile?! Is that true Nagisa Kareshi?"
"She has been rather peaceful lately Karma Saiai no hito. You and her never seem to do your planning out loud. But she wouldn't be your fallen angel if she hasn't made more progress than most of us." Nagisa said.
"Did Nagisa ni Chan tell you about how he decided to be a Suicide bomber? He was bullied into it but still, he should have thought that one out." I added to embarrass him a bit.
"It seems we have a lot to talk about then. Do I have to go talk to anyone?" Karma asked threateningly.
"Well, that's enough of that. Everyone go inside for the quiz." Korosensei said and pushed everyone inside. He couldn't stop the whispers of other classmates talking about Karma.
The quiz was easy, I finished it in about 5 minutes then decided to take a nap on Karma's back seeing as I climbed up on him and wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist as soon as I turned it in.

When I woke up, I was attached to Karasuma sensei instead of Karma. Did I sleep capture again? I thought I stopped doing that, oh well. I let myself fall off of him and I apologized.
"I am sorry Karasuma sensei. This will not happen again. I promise." I said Bowing my head.
"It's fine. You fell asleep on Karma and when he was done, he passed you onto Nagisa who when finished went to Korosensei who you sleep stabbed who came running to me about the problem so I took you so you wouldn't be hurt. Nice job earlier by the way. I never thought you would throw your knife. You can have it back by the way and just give Karma his tomorrow." He said.
"Thank you. I will be going now. Have a nice rest of your day." I said taking the knife and leaving the teacher work room.
It turns out that the school day was over so I went into the woods, took the portal key to Hogwarts, changed uniforms in Mcgonagal's office, then used the time turner to go to this morning.

I then made my way to potions and handed in my essay.
"Alright, this is correct so I will have a friend of mine come and apprentice you after dinner everyday. He has already agreed and will meet you in here with me after dinner. Good work, I see a future potions mistress in the future." Professor Snape said after I gave him my essay.
Once that was done, I went to the Great Hall for breakfast, sat with Selena at the Slytherin table, then attended all of my classes and completed the homework before dinner.
For dinner, I am forced to sit with the Gryffindors so I sit next to Charlie and Percy. They gave me their friendship when they understood how the twins had made me feel by isolating me with their first prank from the rest of the house. Charlie told me how he plans to go and work with dragons and had scored an apprenticeship under a dragon keeper in Romania. Then, after dinner I walked to the potions classroom with Professor Snape and we started to brew the draught of living death to pass the time. There was a tap on the window so Professor Snape opened it and in came a familiar octopus.
"Korosensei?"
"Hanako?"
We both asked startled at once.
"Oh, so you both already know each other. That makes my job easier." Said the Snape
