Bucky had walked into the movie room planning on watching one of the many films Steve had suggested to him. He ended up finding me curled up on his favourite sofa, buried under a mountain of blankets, looking quite peaceful as I slept. He smiled slightly at the sight, wishing he could be lay next to me, his hand running through my hair as I smiled up at him. He brushed those thoughts aside, instead loading up his dvd, knowing I'd stay asleep, no matter how loud the film was.
Halfway through the film, Barnes had found himself paying no attention to the film, in fact his back was to it because he had turned around to check i was okay. I'd started thrashing around and Bucky was on high alert. It wasn't until I whimpered slightly did he finally do something. He jumped over the back of the sofa, scooped me up and pulled me onto his lap, his arms wrapped around my small frame. I whimpered again, pressing my body into him as he looked down at me.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He whispered, his eyes scanning over my face. I didn't answer, instead snuggled my head into his neck slightly and my face went from screwed up to relaxed. He hugged me slightly tighter and whispered, "Hey, you're okay."Within the next half an hour, Bucky had fallen asleep as well, his head rested on my own as he happily slept for the first time in a while. Steve had walked in at one point, the question he was going to ask his best friend now replaced with a million others when he saw the both of us. Instead of posing them now, he just closed the door and let us sleep.
