DO NOT DISTURB

Bucky knocked on my bedroom door twelve times before letting himself in. When he did he was greeted by the sight of me fast asleep, surrounded by blankets and pillows. I had my left hand hooked under my head, elbow out at an angle. My right arm was buried under the quilt somewhere, along with the rest of my body.

He smiled at the sight, his hand running through his hair. The night before I had said to him, 'Wake me up and we'll go get McDonalds breakfast.', but now McDonalds weren't serving breakfast and Bucky would've been quite happy to stay in that room with me forever. He leant down and pressed a gentle kiss on my forehead before walking out of the room and hanging a do not disturb sign on the doorknob.
