Sara's POV
We entered the little breakfast restaurant I had found on the internet, which turned out to be a dainty coffee shop, and we were promptly seated by the windows of the rustically decorated shop.
I loved the dark woods they used around here, the modern black, brown, green and white colour scheme, the many flowers and plants around the shop, the glass touches - it felt "a modern touch to something old", Michael commented, as if he had read my thoughts; and I instantly agreed. The chairs were wooden as well, with white pillows on them.
It was wide, had a lot of open space and was bright and the soft music in the background made it feel homey.
"I love the wood", I traced the table. "I always thought black steel and dark wood goes along perfectly, what do you think?"
"I agree", my boyfriend leaned forward. "Especially if there's a pop of colour."
"Oh yes! Like soft pastel tones, or blue, or yellow, or or or! So many possibilities!", I swooned.
"Should I take a picture of the cafe for inspo?", Michael already reached for his phone before I could even nod.
He looked down and a smile appeared on his face, laughter lines forming around his eyes and dimples burying themselves into his cheeks as he's expression got even happier.
He had seen the selfie I had taken this morning with his phone.
His blue eyes were shining as he looked up to me, then he commented in a teasing tone: "If only you were this cute in person!"
Oh, you've got yourself a fight you can't win mister!
"If only you didn't act this manly in public - if we were alone, I would be getting kisses on kisses without a break!", I sighed, raising a brow at him with a grin.
Michael leaned forward, devilish grin gracing his lips. "If only you were that cheeky when I teased you about other stuff", Michael countered, laughing.
