Right in front of me was a castle. Like in Cinderella, so much like it that I had to rub my eyes to make sure I wasn't hallucinating.
"Welcome to our castle. Well, technically it's mine, but I might as well share it." He said and winked.
"Is this...what I think it is?" I mange to say.
"Yeah, it's Cinderella's castle. Our castle. At least for the day." He shrugged as if it was no big deal.
I stared at him in awe. This must've cost a ton to rent it. Yet he did it for me anyway. I could feel tears of joy make their way down my cheeks. I turned to face Blaise.
"Blaise it's perfect, but I'm sure this cost a bunch! You didn't need to do that. As long as I'm with you I'm happy." I say, wiping my tears.
"I know I didn't have to." Blaise says, removing my hand and replacing it with his, drying the tears. "That's why I did it all the same, to show you how much you mean to me, how much I care." He kisses me quick. "Don't think about the cost, just relax and enjoy today. Okay?"
"Okay." I agree and smile. "Now, I believe it's time for me to be Cinderella for a day." I take his hand and skip towards the garden. "Picnic time!"
Blaise laughs, letting me lead him to the garden. As I walked in, there was an arch of trees, making me feel like I was walking into a fairy tale. Coming out if the arch, there was flowers everywhere. Right in the middle sat a bench, facing a pond where swans and fish swan. I dragged Blaise towards the bench and set up out red plaid picnic blanket in front of it.
"Now, since I did the hard work of finding the perfect spot and placing down the blanket, you get to set up the food. " I say, smiling at him.
"But..." Blaise starts.
"No buts mister go! Ruby needs her some food." I say patting my stomach for extra effect.
"Fine." He sighs, " but only because I want food too." He says, setting up the food.
My jaw nearly drops at all the food. "That could be a buffet!" I stare at the mouthwatering food.
"Made it all myself. It's all if your favorite foods. As well as some of mine." He hands me a plate of my favorite meal, steak, carrots and rice. I smile at him in return, then dig in.
(Special treat time!)
Blaise's POV
I stare at her as she eats and my mind goes wild.
TELL HER!
My mind screams. I know it's a good moment, but what will she say? Will she think I'm a monster just like him? Or worse, will she leave me because of it? I shake my head to rid myself of these thoughts I can't loose her. I don't even care about what anyone thinks. Not even my dad. I love her. I love her too much to let my dad get in the way. I need to tell her. I will, soon. I just can't right now. I wipe all the worry from my face, moments before she looks up at me.
"You going to eat or what?" She questions, pointing to my untouched plate.
"Yeah yeah. Just thinking."
"About what?" She swallows.
"How lucky I am to have someone like you." It's not completely lying. Just not telling her everything. Not now.
"You okay?" She asked, looking at me with those eyes of hers. Not just at me, at me at me, like she was looking inside of me and analyzing my feelings, thoughts, everything.
"Don't say you're not, I can tell something is up." She says, turning serious.
"I don't want to bug you about it." At least not at this very moment my subconscious adds.
"Alright, well you can talk about it when you're ready, but for now let's take your mind off of it okay? I know! Lets explore the castle!" As she says this, her eyes light up and she looks like the happiest person in the world. I feel like that even if I wanted to, which I don't, I couldn't deny her anything.
"Alright." I smile and agree.

Ruby's POV
Thousands of rooms later, we finished walking around the castle.
"My feet hurt.' I groan as we sit on the castle drawbridge. " but it was so worth it." I grin.
"Glad you enjoyed it." He smiles.
"We duh, why wouldn't I?" I tease.
He just tilts his head back and laughs, holding me close.
"Can you carry me?" I bat my eyelashes innocently.
He sighs, but picks me up anyway, bringing me to the car. He tosses me into the seat, making me scream.
"Don't you dare do that! That scared me!" I huff.
"I could tell by your screech." He says laughing. His face turns serious and he turns to face me.
"Ruby I need to tell you something. Its important." He shows no traces of joking, so I nod. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. "I'm the son of Hades."For the first time ever, as I look into his eyes, I see a flash of red in his eyes, that just won't disappear.
