I groan as I drag myself out if bed. as the memories of yesterday flash into my mind I groan again. I do my morning routine and jump down the stairs. I decided to wear a floral dress, paired with a brown scarf, brown sandals, some beaded bracelets and a red bag. I hoped Blaise would like it. I sighed to myself just thinking of him.
"Ruby, sweetie please come out of lala land, you'll get to see Blaise later today. Now eat up. Wouldn't want Blaise to hear your rumbling stomach now would we?" My mother said coming if of nowhere ( okay she came out if the hallway but whatever).
"Okay okay.....can you make it for me?" I plead batting my eyelashes and placing my hands under my chin for the "angel affect." How ironic right?
"Nope." She said making her way towards the living room.
"Pleeeaaassee you owe me! C'mon be a nice angel." I beg a little unfairly.
"Guardian angel to be exact, and fine, but don't expect it again young lady." She says in defeat.
"Eh, I could always call Blaise and make him come over to make me breakfast." I say shrugging as my mother scrambles the eggs. Her cooking always tasted amazing. Probably has something to do with the fact she's an angel. Minutes later she's finished with my breakfast. she places a mouthwatering meal of eggs, bacon, toast, sausages and orange juice in front of me.
I pick up a piece of the sausage with my fork and place it into my mouth. it tastes so good and heavenly I have to stop myself from moaning from the flavor. My mom notices and rolls her eyes. As she walked away I hear he mumble something like "you think she would've gotten used to it by now" while shaking her head.
"I CAN HEAR YOU!" I shout to my mother.
"I'm quite aware Ruby." She says rolling her eyes as a smile tugs at the corners of her mouth.
I finish up my breakfast, placing the plate and the glass in the sink. I decide to text Blaise.
Ruby: Hi Prince Charming.
Blaise: Good morning to you too gorgeous.
R: Soooo when are you coming over?
B: Look outside Cinderella.
I look up from my phone and walk over to the window. I can see Blaise outside is his Ferrari smiling at me. His smile almost makes me melt right there and then, my legs feeling like jello.
"MOM BLAISE IS HERE BYE!" I shout to my mother, wherever she may be.
"No need to shout darling I'm right here." she replies from behind me, making me jump. "Just be safe." She smiles and ushers me out the door.
I giddily run out the door and into Blaise's car.
"Ready to go Cinderella?" Blaise says smiling.
"As long as I'm with you, I'm fine with anything." I reply.
Blaise just laughs and gives me a quick, but sweet kiss. I look down at my necklace that feels like I've has forever. I smile at the necklace, remembering when he first asked me out. Blaise notices, and takes my hand in his. It feels like my hand is a puzzle piece, that connects perfectly in his.
"We're here." Blaise says, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Already?" I ask.
"Ruby we've been driving for 10 minutes." He says laughing.
"Well, time flies when I'm with you." I laugh.
"Same for me, I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm with you." He sighs.
That little comment takes me back to last night for a minute. I try to shake it out of my head. No, this is about Blaise. Not about me. I tell myself and smile at Blaise. He gets out if the car and walks over to my side, opening the door.
"M'lady." He says bowing.
"Why thank you kind sir." I say, playing along.
"Welcome to paradise beautiful." He says gesturing around him.
My eyes go wide as I look around and take it in. I actually feel like a princess, and he's my handsome prince.
