Dammit, Kaisa! I thought as I ran through the destroyed corridors of Gelida’s ship after him.

I knew I couldn't let him fight Gelida on his own; Gelida was sure to have gotten stronger over the years, and without his Super Saiyan form, Kaisa would be powerless against him.

I rushed through the smoke filled halls, keeping him in my sight as I jumped over the bodies of Gelida’s crew members and ran through flames. Finally, I exited the destroyed corridors into what looked like a control room. I gasped as I spotted a small horned figure standing in the center of the room.

Kaisa was standing right behind him, fixing him in a deathly glare.

“So? What do you want now, Kaisa?”, Gelida asked in a calm voice.  “You left us. I allowed you to leave. Time after time, you came back to destroy my crew and then left me to die.”

“Don't worry, Gelida!” Kaisa growled, his gaze still full of fury.  “I'll make sure you die this time! I'll take great care to pulverize you into nothing!”

“It's actually kind of funny, thinking about all the times you defeated me,” Gelida responded, “and then thought I was dead when I completely suppressed my ki signal! You fell for it every time!”

“Well, this time, I'll make sure that there's nothing left of you!” Kaisa assured.

“Oh no”, Gelida contended, turning to face him then.  “You see, I've heard from a reliable source that you lost your Super Saiyan power. I've gotten much stronger since the last time we butted heads, and yet you've only grown weaker. This won't play out the way it did last time for you, I'm afraid.”

“We’ll just have to see about that, then!”

At that moment, Gelida walked over to Kaisa, stopping beside him. He then turned to me, beckoning me to come closer. I obeyed, halting in front of him. He placed one hand on my shoulder, and the other on Kaisa’s, and suddenly we were engulfed in a bright light. Once the light cleared, I was filled with confusion, as we had somehow teleported to an entirely new environment. Gelida took several steps away from us, and signalled for me to do the same. I obeyed once more, confusion writhing in my mind, and hovered away from Kaisa, who stayed where he was.

“There!”, Gelida exclaimed.  “Now we can fight without destroying my ship any further.

If you're ready, come at me.”

“Gladly!” Kaisa responded.

With that, Kaisa vanished. Gelida then turned around and threw out his fist, striking Kaisa in the face. Kaisa let out a frustrated grunt, and lunged at Gelida, throwing a blur of blows, all of which Gelida was able to dodge. Once he found his opening, Gelida fired a thin ki beam from his fingertip, piercing Kaisa in his left shoulder with force that sent Kaisa staggering backwards, allowing Gelida to then unleash a barrage of blows to his gut. Kaisa, once again, vanished, swiftly dodging a final kick to the head. He reappeared behind Gelida to deal a powerful kick to Gelida’s side, sending him flying into a nearby cliffside. Kaisa then charged his ki into his hands, and with a yell of “Jet Bomber!” released an orange ki wave at Gelida, obliterating the entirety of the cliff in a huge explosion. I could never forget the look of bewilderment on Kaisa’s face as the dust cleared to reveal Gelida standing where the cliff used to be -- looking mildly injured, slightly burned, but with an expression of amusement on his face.

“What an impressive trick!” Gelida mocked.  “It might’ve actually finished me, if I hadn't gotten stronger.”

“So you've improved a bit! Don't get a swelled head!” Kaisa retorted.

“Oh, far more than “a bit!” Gelida assured him. His body then began to glow; he let out a shout of effort as his body grew brighter and brighter and released a burst of ki, decimating the ground around him.

Once the dust cleared, all Kaisa and I could do was stare in horror. There, Gelida stood: taller, bigger, and far stronger than we could've ever imagined.

“Behold! My glorious final form!” he bragged.
