I couldn’t believe I went along with Pelsary’s plan. I know I am smarter than her… however, I had no other idea at the time. What made her the leader at that moment was her power alone. Once my power was restored… I’d take control… and she would see that I am her superior! Her plan was to go to the planet Earth and find some woman named Baba. If that was the only idea she had, I’d overestimated her.
Pelsary’s ship reached the North Quadrant in less than two weeks. If we were using our pods, it would have taken ten times as long to get there. It caused me to wonder about the ship’s technology. But no matter how interesting I found it, it failed to compensate for the amount of disgust I was filled with whenever I saw Pelsary’s face. I almost wanted to puke.
We reached Earth, and saw the ball of dirt and water through one of the windows.
“So this is Earth”, I scoffed. “I’m surprised the Saiyans haven’t destroyed this worthless planet already.”
“There are Saiyans living on this planet, dummy. Prince Vegeta himself lives here”, she informed me.
“What?!” I asked, stunned. “When did this happen?!”
“Couple years ago, I'm pretty sure.”
I stared at the Earth in shock. How can anything here have any hold on Vegeta? It’s inconceivable!!
“Hey, you okay there?”
I turned to her. “Why would you care?”
“Because if I'm going to regain my Super Saiyan power, I'm going to need you to stay sane, okay??”
I turned away once more. “Whatever. Just stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours…”
Pelsary looked at me with resentment. She really should have left me to die.
“You really have to be more thankful, Kaisa”, she cautioned. “After all, I did just save your life.”
“You really think I need to be reminded of that?!” I stormed off in a huff to one of the escape pods.
“Hey, wait!” she called after me.
“Screw you, Pelsary!” I cursed over my shoulder. I pressed a few buttons and opened the pod.
“Stop being dumb and just listen to me!”
My eyes widened, then I smacked her across the face. “I am nobody’s slave… especially not yours!!” I announced through gritted teeth.
I entered the pod, and launched it towards Earth.
