I smiled as we entered my ship.

“It's sooooo good to be home!” I exclaimed happily.

We had Gelida teleport us back to his ship. From there, we came back to mine. I looked back at Kaisa, who had an expression of annoyance on his face.

“Why are we leaving that scum and his crew alive?!” he demanded. “He should be dead right now!”

I gave him a devious smile.

“Who ever said we were going to leave them alive?”

With that, I walked over to one of our space pods, and beckoned him to follow. His annoyed look eased up, most likely because he realized what I was up to. He entered his pod, and together, we left my ship and hovered towards Gelida’s. We entered our Super Saiyan forms, opened the hatches to our pods, and charged up our ki.

“We have to make this quick and powerful. Our energy can't protect us from a vacuum forever”, I reminded Kaisa through the intercom.

“Of course! I'm not an idiot!” Kaisa snapped back.

With that, we both released huge ki blasts directly at the large Frost Demon ship. We watched in awe as the ship disappeared in a brilliant, silent explosion. The both of us extremely satisfied, we re-entered our pods and hovered back to my ship.

Once we boarded my ship once more, Kaisa’s look of satisfaction molded into confusion. He gave me a hard stare, turning my look of satisfaction into concern.

“What?” I asked him.

“What ever happened to only killing when you absolutely had to?” he asked in response.  “That is what you told me, right?”

He was correct. I told him that sometime on our way back from Gelida’s ship.

“I felt like I had to, this time”, I told him.  “He was a threat to everyone in this universe, so he needed to be purged from it.”

“So then ...” he began.  “Why didn't you try to destroy me? I was nearly as powerful as him, and yet you wanted us to work together.”

I gave that question some deep thought, and then gave him my honest answer.

“I honestly don't know.” I replied.  “I guess I just ...trust you.”

I caught him blushing out of the corner of my eye, and then him looking away to hide it. I heard him mumble, “How absurd…” under his breath, and realized how flustered he was. I quickly changed the subject.

“So…” I began reluctantly.  “You've regained your full power. Does this mean...you're heading out now?”

He looked at me with yet another confused expression.

“Yes. Why do you ask?”

“I was just thinking ...maybe you could stick around?”

I honestly wanted him to stay. He was a powerful fighter, and we worked well together in the fight against Gelida. Plus, I still needed him to break Clarinet’s spell on me.

I looked at Kaisa to see an expression of complete bewilderment on his face.

“So?” I pried.
