A New Adventure Begins: Pelsary and Kaisa!

Chapter Twenty: A Peculiar Duo

To this day, I will always wonder what made me join Pelsary. Perhaps it was the need to regain our Super Saiyan forms. Perhaps she was my rival, and I wanted to get stronger because of her. I will never know; however, there was one thing that I knew was happening. She was growing on me...slightly, at least. We decided to take off to an uninhabited planet to spar, and see if we could push ourselves further. We already achieved Super Saiyan. Now we just needed to achieve the form greater than that. Super Saiyan 2. We landed on the planet Stin, a rocky exoskeleton of the former planet of Styre. The planet itself is basically an asteroid, though it was once covered with lush forests, and landscaped with fruit and honey. However, a volcanic eruption wiped out the entire landscape. It’s all just rock and ash now. 

We landed on the surface and opened the door hatch.  “This planet has seen better days”, I stated to Pelsary.

“Really?”

“This landscape used to be lush and full of life. Neither Gelida nor Frieza had use for it since they didn’t have the Dragon Balls, or anyone to threaten them.”

“Wow!” she exclaimed. “And I thought I saw everything!”

“Well, enough to talk.”

I walked past her and turned around.

“We need to spar if we’re ever to get past our Super Saiyan forms.” I entered my fighting stance.

She entered her stance as well. “Come at me, with all you have!”

I smirked. “Gladly.”

I gave a loud shout before turning Super Saiyan. She did the same and we started to throw punches and kicks toward each other. We blocked each other with such precision, shockwaves were produced, causing the ground to shake and rocks to break into pieces. We weren’t holding back for a second.

I’ve always wanted a fight like this! I thought.

We both punched each other in the face, sending us flying back a few feet. Some blood seeped from my mouth, as she only received a slight bruise.

I chuckled. “Well, this is exciting! The same sensation I received when we first fought is back!”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself!” she shouted to me, bringing her hands back.  “Fury Flash!” she shouted.

“Jet Bomber!!”

We both fired our attacks, not with much strength though. We had to save some for when we finished sparring, or else we will find ourselves passing out on a rock without the necessary elements for us to use to survive.

After our attacks exploded in a flashing light, we were about to charge towards each other again, when suddenly an energy spike emerged. I stopped in my tracks as I looked to the east. I found Pelsary looking in the same direction.

“You feel that too?” I asked.

“Yeah. And it doesn’t feel right. That’s massive Namekian energy”, she replied.

“Should we check it out?”

“Unfortunately, we should. Hopefully we can still spar afterwards.”

I nodded in agreement and reverted to my base form. She did the same, and we walked to the ship and went inside. 

“We’ll have to set the coordinates for the eastern quadrant”, Pelsary stated.

“There must be someone stronger than us to use that energy. And I have a feeling I may know the planet the energy spike is coming from”, I retorted.

“Where?”

I pressed a few buttons, setting the coordinates.

“Terria.”
