While walking through the dead forests of this fossil of a planet, I found myself thinking about how it came to be like this. I immediately pushed the thought away, knowing that I had to stay focused. Such a powerful Namekian ki signal seemed out of place on a desolate planet like this. I didn't know about Kaisa, but I knew I needed to find out whether or not this was Clarinet. Kaisa had already dispersed Clarinet’s magic, but traces of it still disabled my full power. I needed him to undo the spell. As we neared the signal, a group of large structures became visible over the horizon.

“A city?” I asked Kaisa.

“Most likely”, he replied.

We pried the front gates open, and entered into the cluster of rubble and burnt towers. I gazed on in horror at the sight of ancient corpses, each in its own agonized pose.

“What happened here?!” I gasped.

“I'm not sure, but we can sightsee later. I think we've reached our destination”, replied Kaisa.

I looked ahead to see what he meant: A huge metallic fortress giving off a massive Namekian energy signal at the center of the jungle of buildings.

In front of the entrance, two strange-looking humanoids stood, each armed with arm-mounted energy blasters and dressed in body armor. When they spotted us, angry expressions took over their faces, and their blasters were then aimed directly at us. Left and right, we dodged energy bolts fired at us in rapid succession. The rapid fire ceased when we incapacitated both of them. Or, at least, I had to convince Kaisa not to kill them.

We burst through the tall metal doors and proceeded down the dark, cold corridor. As we walked, screaming could be heard from ahead. It filled me with apprehension, and I swear I saw Kaisa tense up beside me. As the screaming got louder, I began to move faster until I reached the end of the corridor. I broke the door down, and gazed on in horror, for what I saw wasn't pretty.

There were people hanging on the wall, energy being sapped from their bodies through the restraints holding them. They let out horrible screams in agony. There were women, men, and children, and all appeared to be of the same race. What frightened me the most is that all of them looked exactly like Nebula: green skin, bright blue hair and amber eyes. Their ki signals, although slowly disappearing, even felt the same as hers. Were these people the same species as Nebula? I caught myself thinking.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of loud footsteps. Out of the darkness appeared Tuba.

“Well, well, well, what do we have here?!” he asked in a booming voice.  “If it isn't the legendary bounty hunter, Pelsary, and the cybernetic Saiyan rogue, Kaisa! How wonderful to see you!”

“What are you doing to these people, Tuba?!” I questioned him.

“And how did even you escape your holders?” Kaisa added.

“I had Clarinet help me out. It was pretty easy to get past the guards. As for what I'm doing to these Terrians --”

“Terrians?!” Kaisa interrupted in shock.  “I thought they went extinct a long time ago!”

“Not entirely, no. Some of them managed to hide away in attempts to preserve their very talented race. I managed to catch them hiding away on their old planet.”

He then walked over to a glowing machine and stopped in front of it.

“This machine is sapping the immense amount of energy from each of their bodies. Terrians are known for possessing almost infinite amounts of ki, preventing them from ever growing tired in battle. I'm going to use that energy to make myself far stronger!”

He turned to the machine, then pulled off two pointed rods connected by long cords. He then inserted them into his arms and clicked a switch on each rod. Almost instantly, his power level grew more and more intense, until I could feel it without trying. Beside me, Kaisa had entered his Super Saiyan state, and was bracing himself for an attack. I followed his example and entered my form as well. I pointed at the machine and fired a ki beam at it, blowing it to smithereens.

“Destroying it now won't matter!” he roared.  “I've already absorbed enough of their energy to best you a thousand times!”

With that, he removed the rods and charged at us. I braced myself for his hit, but still was blown away by the impact. I quickly recovered, and swiftly dodged a frenzy of swings. I signalled to Kaisa and he nodded in understanding. We both jumped up at the same time, charging our ki as we ascended, and unleashed powerful blasts.

“Fury Breaker!”

“Blast Bomber!” we shouted.

Under the cover of smoke and dust, we recovered all of the imprisoned Terrians and dashed from the building. Once we were a safe distance away, we carefully set their unconscious bodies down and worked on restoring their energy levels. It wasn't long before Tuba's battered self landed on the ground near us, his face seething with rage. He had grown stronger, all right.

This looked like major trouble for us.
