[first name] sighed as she opened the door to her cold home. school had been long and boring, mr. aizawa was cruel, and gave them a lot of homework. just as she was about to enter her bed room, she heard the cold voice of her mother speaking.

"the girl can't even clean her room properly." she heard her mother sigh with anger, as a muffled voice came, from what she assumed, was a phone.

"plus, all her grades are B's, but all i want is for her to get A's! what did i do to deserve such a child?" [first name] looked down, a feeing of hurt filling her heart at what she was hearing.

"i haven't heard her come home from school, the kid's probably slacking off." her mother's cold voice spoke.

[first name] grabbed her backpack and walked away from her room, not wanting to listen to her mother's complaints at the moment. she quietly sighed as she sat down on the small couch in their living room.

why couldn't she get better grades? did she really slack off that much? she thought her straight B's were good. but now a dark feeling of shame washed over her..

pulling out her phone, she scrolled through her short list of contacts. clicking on a girl's contact she didn't know that much, but was still friends with.
