I really didn't expect my birthday to be fresh out of the hospital after serious complications with my heart. And I surely wasn't expecting to almost get put in the ICU.
Thankfully, this knocked some sense into me and made me realize that life is precious and can absolutely be taken away at any moment.
I'm very grateful to be alive and to be able to celebrate my birthday with those I love the most.
